It's a good length, some 12-15 hours - just right to ensure it doesn't outstay it's welcome, but you can easily get longer out if it too.

Darkborn1743d ago

But I thought 12-15 hours is a DLC game? Isn't that the narrative for miles morales and ratchet and clank: rift apart?

Zhipp1743d ago

15-20hrs is pretty standard for a non-openworld singleplayer game, no? The only game I can think of that broke that rule was TLOU2 which took 30hrs.

Orchard1743d ago

SMMM is only about 7 hours unless you’re going for completionist / 100%.

EmperorDalek1743d ago

I don't see anyone calling Rift Apart a DLC game? Miles Morales gets called that because its not really a proper sequel, is smaller, and has the same world as the original. It's hard not to draw First Light comparisons from that.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH1743d ago

Miles Morales is NOT a 12-15 hour game so stop reaching. My 9 year old son beat it in under 7 hours and I beat it in roughly 6. Stop the BS...

not 30 hours?? gamers must be furious that a SP game like this is THAT short. no replay value whatsoever. what a ripoff!

anubusgold1743d ago

Thats if you dont do the side missions who passes them up in any rpg. The best missions in elders scrolls oblivion was the crazy side stories .

anast1743d ago

Yeah, this game will be forgotten faster than I thought.

Orchard1743d ago

Can you explain why it’ll be forgotten faster than you thought? Is it the 15 hour length or the 89 metacritic?

MadLad1743d ago

They can't.
They just like throwing salt.

Darkborn1743d ago

an 89 on pc, 87 on series x, we'll see if they get a random 2/10 like ratchet and clank did just to drop their score at the last second though.

RedDevils1743d ago

I forgotten about the first one, until the sequel pop up out of nowhere.

Tedakin1743d ago

firsty party xbox game so it's garbage by default.....

One of the best reviewed games of the year, and a sequel to a longtime cult favorite finally come to fruition.

Sure it will ...

Tedakin1743d ago

It'll be remembered when the GOTY awards are going out.

Kavorklestein1743d ago

Ha! I'm actually liking the story more than any 3d platformer I've ever played.

I’ll take any 10-15 hour proper gameplay/story/sound game over any 80+ hour eventual grind/bloat/pad fest.

Not as Good as August we got Lies of P and Day Z.

Terry_B279d ago

Better than August, we got Stardew Valley and Psychonauts 2.

FinalFantasyFanatic279d ago

I think it's more perspective, Lies of P is good, but I already own Psychonauts 2, and I don't care for Stardew Valley, so August was better for me. But if I had none of these games, nor certain preferences, September is the better overall month.

darthv72279d ago

Psychonauts 2 is a fun game.

Abnor_Mal279d ago

Nothing of interest for me this month.

FPSRUSSIA279d ago

same ill be adding them to my Library but wont be playing them.

Abnor_Mal279d ago

Same adding to library but not playing.

thorstein279d ago

Different I'll be playing them but won't be adding them to my library

Neonridr279d ago

I always just add everything to my library so I can download them in the future if I want. These games don't particularly interest me, but good for those who were looking forward to playing them.

Viewfinder is a great puzzle game. A must for fans of puzzles
