An Update Regarding Call of Duty Anti-Cheat Programs

The company is updating players on the steps it is taking to combat cheaters. The new blog post notes that Activision has now banned an additional 60,000 cheaters from the game. According to the company, that brings the total number of bans up to a whopping 300,000.

Major pro player complains, they finally say something. That's not for the players, this is just PR.

I might be jaded, but they've been so lazy in handling these issues and only respond when major persons say something publicly.

Edit: Also, banning cheaters isn't enough and has been proven that they do ban legit players (including high rank players) based on the way they collect data. Cheaters have tons of throwaway accounts, real people don't. They need to improve their netcode and detection capabilities as well as hamper cheating capabilities.
