I'll enjoy mostly any game with black leads in them. Gamer world needs diversity.

RazzerRedux2023d ago (Edited 2023d ago )

I don't care about diversity for diversity's sake (not saying that's what you are saying). I like diverse stories and characters from diverse storytellers. This game is just that. This isn't some virtue signaling white dev who is shoehorning a black character in because he is meeting standards implemented by a "Department of Inclusion" of some massive corporation. This dev is telling the story he wants to tell with characters he wants. Love it.

I like Denzel Washington's take. I believe he is describing what we are seeing here with this game.

I didn't read or listen the interview I was just trying say I would like to see more black leads in games.

RpgSama2023d ago

I'll enjoy any game that It's good regardless of color, gender, sexuality or even if it's not an actual human as the lead.

blackblades2022d ago

Same here dont know why your attacking me with that like I didn't.

justsomeoffdude2022d ago

why should race matter at all in a story.. does the lead's race have any impact on gameplay or the story telling? Sadly most of the people even making this an issue can't even really explain why they believe it's an issue.

blackblades2022d ago (Edited 2022d ago )

And all I was saying I would like to see more black leads in video games because I'm black and dont see much of us in them and it'll be cool to see them. I can say you people targted me just cause I personally wanted to see more of my skin color in games. I never said anything bad about not enjoying a game with whatever the guy said above.

justsomeoffdude2022d ago

Guess what @blackblades??? I'm black as well. Instead of expecting companies that are predominantly white putting black characters in games THEY ARE making, encourage black game devs by buying their games. Ever heard of games like Aurion: Legacy of the kori-odan (made by african studio) or swimsanity? I still buy these games even though they are not the kinds of games I play just to support them.

Deathdeliverer2022d ago

I know what you mean. They after you (I’m guessing) because you said “you’ll enjoy any game with a black lead“ like just because the lead was black you will most likely like the game. I fully agree that I’d like to see more races save the world than the usual fare, but ALSO have great story, gameplay, and so on. Game can have more black people than wakanda but if the fun isn’t there, it isn’t there 🤷🏿‍♂️. So yeah, people took it literal, I know what ya meant. Of course you want fun and all those things, you’d just get a extra kick by finally seeing a character that isn’t the usual fare save the day.

why have hyper realistic CGI; when the game looks cartoonish??
