Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

As if they haven't already started to slip over the last 7 years, Ubisoft is about to go full woke. Oh well, nothing good ever lasts forever.
Ubisoft doesn't excite me for the next generation of gaming. When we saw Watch Dogs, our jaws hit the floor. Is that PS3 gameplay!? We wanted to play it then, we didn't want to accept that was next gen, but we were given a taste of what next gen was. Assassin's Creed Valhalla and the other game was.............Watch Dogs Legion, and I could care less. On they went about Ray tracing and I could've cared less, the color was horrible and bleached, textures were pathetic, AA, what? If I knew my company was cranking out a product like that, first rat to bail a sinking ship. I couldn't be proud of those mediocre attempts. It didn't even look like current gen, maybe Xbox One, it didn't even look like PS3 from Sony's first-party, it looked like Xbox 360 third-party. Maybe they thought we were talking about backward compatibility and taking steps back with new and powerful hardware everyone's so obsessed with living in the past instead of moving forward. We have new powerful hardware, why squander it, when we could have next gen tech games, which Ubisoft must've forgotten about. Ubisoft game developers, they work there because they feel they're not good enough for Sony level studios, so they just accept what they have instead of saying No! I'm good enough for Sony Studios, I'm going to get there. Sony would love it, because it fewer developers and fewer games for Microsoft.
