The crazy thing is this has apparently been an issue since X and Y. You would think they would fix it. Gamefreak is channeling Bethesda with years old bugs. Thankfully I never ran into a save data problem.

telekineticmantis2376d ago

But it's Nintendo, so we let it slide under the radar... Mayne now it'll get fixed since Gamefreak is being called out.

So one minute it’s Nintendo but then it’s gamefreak 🤦🏻‍♂️🥴
Nintendo publish the game have the ever developed the series no. They have an input but it’ll be minimal the input goes the other way mainly ie Nintendo show gamefreak the hardware early so they can design around it. Yes Gamefreak design develop create and produce the game.

Nintendo owns the game, they are a huge company, they have the final say

mikeslemonade2376d ago (Edited 2376d ago )

Nintendo is the most free passed company of the three. And dammit I got like 40 games on my sd card, that would be a waste of time if it corrupts it .

I got two switches so I will play on the one with no external sd card.

“There’s nothing wrong with the game”

“A review is not the place to talk about criticism”

Also IGN: This is the best Pokemon game I've ever played and I've played them ALL!

@-Foxtrot

You're saying IGN knew about this bug but kept it a secret? How do you know this?

PhoenixUp2376d ago

That’s a big deal considering this is one of the games that don’t support support cloud saves

It looks like the solution is to have your SD card formatted in FAT32 instead of ExFAT. It sucks that people have to go out of their way just to be safe from a critical bug. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

PCgamer982376d ago

Unfortunately that's not the case since one guy got his switch bricked playing physical copy of pokemon eventhough he doesn't even have an sd card in his switch. But this could also be just a coincidence.

funny how the 3d games are not in the top 5 haha

Giga_Gaia660d ago

It should be:
1) Gold/Silver/Crystal
2) Red/Blue/Yellow
3) Ruby/Saphire/Emerald

The rest can be put in any order you want.

No way original Gen 1 games are better than R/S/E

Rutaprkl659d ago

I liked Sword/Shield (Which didn't even make the list) way more than Scarlet/Violet, but everyone has opinions.

Inverno659d ago (Edited 659d ago )

IMO I think S&S is better because it's more visually appealing due to it's nice backdrops and linearity, but it was still meh. I couldn't bother finishing Scar/Vio, they managed to make an even more boring broken game only 2 games after S&S and that's quite impressive.

the amount of games with forced exp share making this list is depressing
even games like ranger or colleseum/ XD
or mystery dungeon, way more deserving
