Happy to see PS3 at No2. Best console ever imo, a great media player, Awesome library of games, Free Online.. And as a Collector its the best to collect for, so many Variants, nice looking cover arts, all have manuals unlike PS4 (i like thick manuals lol) Blu Ray discs are great, i would hate to collect for anything that uses DvD as they scratch so easily. I'm not sure how easy the Fat PS3 is to take apart but the Slim and Super Slim are very easy to take apart and clean, which makes maintaining them a quick easy task. And i love the Dualskock 3, if i could use it on PS4 i would use it over the DS4.

Imo PS4 is the worst, remember when it launched and it was riddled with issues for about 2 years, it took Sony 2 years just to fix the messaging system.. And it took ages for games to start coming out often.. It suffers from really poor download speeds as well, the DS4 was a flawed design, analog sticks rubber pealing off, triggers braking, and the R2 has a sensitivity issue that i bet many people have but won't notice unless they play a racing game, a very poor battery life and a light you can't turn off.. And then there is the PS4 Pro which is a more powerful console that is even worse than a standard PS4, they are so damn loud and have an annoying buzzing noise, and for me and many others the UI is a laggy mess. The only thing thats good is the download speeds are miles better. There has been and is still so many issues with the PS4 I can't be bothered to list, it has an Awesome library of games but the console and firmware are terrible.

This is my opinion, if you don't like it then that's your problem.

PS3 was great for games, however.

PS4 has so many quality of life features for gaming such as suspend and resume, being able to flick between apps and games, party chat, invite system, remote play etc.

I love the games on PS3, however, the PS4 has great games and great gaming features.

Best to least best (cause in sonys case you cant say best to worst) ps1, ps2, ps3 and ps4. This list is strictly from a gaming standpoint, And I'm obviously thinking of games in relation to the time they came out.

They all very dear to me, except portable ones.

I don't understand how you guys are placing PS3 ahead of PS4. PS3 was hard to develop for and all games looked inferior in comparison to its 360 counterparts. In my opinion it's.

In defense of the PlayStation vita the PlayStation vita did have a nice handful of solid physical game releases and digital game releases. You could also play nearly every psp game on the PlayStation vita via digitally purchased and downloaded off the PlayStation store. Also the PlayStation vita had features like remote play with PlayStation 4 that let you stream ps4 games on the PlayStation vita and act like controller for PlayStation 4 amongs other useful features and functionality.

Many gamers haven't fully explored each PlayStation gaming platform because if they did they'd realize many features and functionalities and even some games both exclusive non exclusive carried over to each PlayStation platform.

This is the correct order to rank PlayStation consoles:

PS3 - The most epic and abundant generation ever.
PS2 - An era of wonderful classics and and quality games with heart.
PS4 - Super solid and highly efficient generation. Unfortunately lacks features and some heart.
PS1 - The OG PlayStation that started it all, very fun and fond time.
PSP - A slow burner at the start, but got surprisingly good over time.
PS Vita - Biggest waste of fantastic potential ever. Superb in theory, lackluster in practice, apart from few exceptions.

Their list was absolute trash.
For me, I owned a ton of Nintendo consoles growing up, including an N64 instead of a PS1. I got a PS2 on launch, and for me, this was the console that I firmly believe to be the best console of all time. PS1 introduced so many franchises, but the PS2 transcended even the loftiest of expectations with its absolutely massive catalog, third party support and so on.

2.PS3 - An audio and videophile dream of a game console,got its second storm with amazing exclusives.
3.PS2 - My first I purchased,so many games to revisit and play for first time,too bad it's not very reliable.
4.PS4 - My backlog maker of a console just hit after hit and not enough time to play them most reliable console of all 4 but just lacked too many basic media support,A bit boring as a console.
5.PSP - Could've ranked higher if I'm into portable gaming but I'm not,still my most used portable system still play Ridge Racer (2004) on it.
6.PS Vita - Technically epic an gorgeous system that got its support cut down too soon and proprietary memory and I/O hurts it badly,original model built like a tank.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
