Personally I wasn't bothered by the lack of surprise because as you stated, several of their games were to be expected. I think they did go all out though, they had a whole pitch for FIFA alone, promoting Volta with some of the world's most popular freestylers. I don't think it was a perfect event, it definitely missed catering to everyone, but for the most part they did improve on their format.
