Devil May Cry 5 Review - Paste Magazine

"As much as Devil May Cry’s developers have decided to empower players to be as badass and have as much fun as possible, the question remains: who is being empowered here? And the answer almost across the board is straight, cisgender guys. That’s the only real audience this game can envision. And in 2019, that’s one hell of a way to sensationally mar an otherwise exceptional gaming experience.
Hopefully, next time the ladies will finally get their turn." Paste Magazine says.

"Straight, cisgender guys. That’s the only real audience this game can envision." This is exactly the kind of thing South Park makes fun of. For good reason, too. This made me laugh pretty hard.

Paste magazine? Literally who?

If they don't believe that DMC has a strong female fanbase they are hugely misinformed. I'm sick of these ppl trying to chime in on things they have no clue about 😂

Capcom says it wants Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney to be 'core IPs' like Monster Hunter

Sorry if you were expecting Bionic Commando.

Actions speak louder than words. Show me a new Mega Man game that isn't a collection of games I played yesteryear. If they can churn out some kind of RE game every other year they can make a new Mega Man entry. It's not like it's known for its deep stories.

I can see DMC, but the others just weren't built for that without some major adjustments on how they're played.

If they make the right choices and right kinds of games, the Mega-Man IP could potentially be made into an animated film or streaming series like the success of Mario and Sonic. Surely that thought may have crossed their minds? Or am I being silly? I mean there is a lot more water to go under the bridge for them to even start considering that. But I used to be a big mega-man fan back in the day. I'd love to see it happen.

It’s being done on purpose just to destroy inafune . It’s some pride stuff on the inside .

blacktiger163d ago

all talk and if they launch it will cost $200

shinXseijuro163d ago

Just like the guys said . I’ll believe it when I see it . Even the shareholders are asking questions regarding Megaman . I don’t want to sound ludacris but I have a strong conviction that the heads at Capcom are purposely holding the Megaman IP down because of their grudge and spite towards inafune on some deeper Japanese honour code stuff . It’s deeper than we think . You can tell something isn’t right .

Well i hope DMC is being worked on. Either a remake of 1 or 6 will do.

And bring back Megaman X. Either regular, command mission or make it a Metroidvania since silksong is so popular.

It's a fun but unfinished game.
