Loot-Ninja: "So last night I settled in for some TV at my friend's house, briefly discussing some new games that will be coming out when I saw this ad for the Xbox 360. It's part of the 'Live Your Moment' marketing campaign that Microsoft has kicked off. There have been a few others such as family games, featuring Lego Batman and for music games featuring Rock Band 2. Those I don't have a problem with. It's this one that I have a problem with, the movie one.
Did anyone catch that? Sure the Xbox 360 can download and play HD movies, we know that, but the Xbox 360 displayed is priced at GBP 129.99, the Arcade version, which lacks a hard drive. Yes they did mention in the commercial that a hard drive is required but that doesn't say much to me when you advertise the version without a hard drive. To me this is nothing more than a cheap shot for market share by Microsoft. Family games, music games, and movies are the 3 big hot topics these days and Microsoft covers all of them, cheaply according to them, yet not 100% true."

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

The name "Hewson" carries a special weight for anyone who grew up during the golden age of British computing. To celebrate Tomb Raider: Legend's 20th anniversary, the official channels have shared an early in-development gameplay demo.
Yes, it is extremely annoying and should irritate everyone but it is up to the consumer to read the fine print. Technically all Xbox 360 systems can do this but not necessarily out of the box. Microsoft should not have made a hard drive less Xbox, bad move.
It's Microsoft,what did you expect
Yes. MS will attempt to screw people into thinking that the arcade is an awesome deal. Its not. Its a gimped xbox experience that doesn't come with everything you need to enjoy what the xbox can bring. Most of the features that make it appealing to casual people need a hard drive. Downloading and watching movies, live arcade, plus some games require an hdd to play online (and that be a possible trend we see). It's just plain misinformation.
Microsoft coming out with shady adverts? NO WAY!
/end sarcasm
they show the top model but give the price for the cheapest with a 'from' as a prefix whilst right down at the bottom of the screen you'll see a tiny asterisk for a nanosecond that says 'the model shown will melt your face'.
Yes, it is misleading but its not exclusive to MS. Consumers are getting smarter to these types of tactics.
