This is seriously one of the worst game's i've ever played.
I spent the last hour just walking around doing nothing picking up scrap metal ..just to throw it away 10 minutes later cause im "encumbered"

Just as i thought xbox360 version is superior in sharper graphics and everything .The ps3 version displays awful graphics and is blurry due to poor hardware.

The outdated hardware thus has the inferior version of Fallout 3.

This video just shows the might of the Playstation 3 compared to other consoles. It just reinforces the notion if you truely want a next gen experience you need to "Jump Out" that other system and fully embrace the richness of the Sony console. Would you really want to look back in this gaming era and regret not making the obvious choice? Stand with me

Look everyone, a PS3 owner who will admit that at that part of the video, there is a big difference...look at the red signage.

But......notice how depending on the light source (brighter light) the graphics in turn look better, so for comparison this is useless except maybe to appease PS3 fans.

The graphics look sick on my 720p by the way, but if you know anything about Fallout, it's that story and immersion that really gets ya. And we all got the same story, right?

why does the 360 versions always have more color. The ps3 is always dull and non-colorful. I guess it is cost-effective for the developers to port the 360 version to the ps3 because developing must be tough and expensive on the ps3

like i've stated numerous times before, i have the game on the PS3, and i'm playing it on a 40" 720p Samsung. the game is GORGEOUS.

it easily looks better than Oblivion on the PS3, and Oblivion looked marginally better on the PS3 (minuscule differences).

all the PS3 fans shying away from this fantastic game because of a few pixel differences are doing themselves a HUGE disservice.

Fallout 3 on PS3 is a great game. end of story.

this grainy, terrible video simply points out that the ridiculous and pointless comparison videos are just that, ridiculous and pointless.

gone are the days where the PS3 version of a multi-plat was laughably bad, and the 360 fanboys just can't seem to accept that fact.

even if there are a few pixel differences (like with Bioshock, and apparently with Fallout 3), they are too minuscule to even consider.

games like Call of Duty 4, Burnout Paradise, Devil May Cry 4, GTAIV, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, etc, etc, prove beyond a shadow of the doubt that third parties are coming to grips with the PS3's architecture, and the games are getting BETTER, not WORSE.

360 fanboys, let it go. your day in the sun was last year. all that gloating you all did back then is coming back to bite you in the @ss at full force.

the PS3's gaming library is growing (with EXCLUSIVES TOO), the software AND hardware sales are on the INCREASE, and more and more Playstation 2 owners are moving to PS3 as they pick up HDTVs, and want a gaming/multi-media device to put it through it's paces. not to mention the PSN have been improving with leaps and bounds, and the recent server issues with SOCOM and Little Big Planet have been because Sony underestimated that DEMAND for those games would be so great that it'd bring down the servers. that's a compliment, not a doom and gloom prediction.

there's a market for the PS3, 360, and yes, even the Wii, so all this pixel comparisons and d*ck waving going on around the net these days is foolish.

but there is no denying that the PS3 has made MAJOR headway, especially after the complete and utter media blackballing Sony and the PS3 have gotten since E3 2006, and they announced that $599 price tag. even when the current console is still TWICE that of it's competition, it sells, and sells MORE than it's nearest competitor. THAT'S impressive, and worthy of some credit where it's due.

But the ps3 version looks MORE better and SMOOTHER. 360 version has a BURST of GOLDEN color! But when you look at the ps3 version, you see more of a calm setting.

Im not saying that 360 looks bad, all im saying is that ps3 version looks more smooth and calm.

It's absolutely impossible to compare with this low low low-res video. The only thing we can compare is the color.

But the color never mattered, because it depends on the TV in relation to the default preset of the console. The PS3, according to thousands of poorly executed comparisons, comes with a lower default color saturation. Raise the saturation on your TV and you get the very same thing as on the X360. I'v already tried it with Oblivion, R6 Vegas and Assassin's Creed. They both looked the same when I adjusted the color saturation.

In short : we wait for the HD gametrailers comparison (or other HD comparisons), we overlook the color differences, we compare, we realize it's absolutely stupid to look for that tiny difference, then we talk about it.

MS only hope has been on their contracts to 3rd party dev's guaranting equal or less performance on the PS3 versions. Bethesda probably got penalized by M$ when ES:IV came out being much better on the PS3.

Anybody that buys a PS3 this holiday season can get 3 great games immediately: MGS4, R2, and LBP. All AAA titles.

This game looks like ass. That said, I'm having a damn good time playing it. The game play is top notch I'm loving it soo far. But I still think it looks like ass.

From the quality of that video, I can say that they look equally...awful.

I've played both and the 360 version looks slightly better but only because of better anti-aliassing. The frame rate was good in both versions. The PS3 version has a few minor technical issues, like small audio and video hitching and will probably be fixed with a patch and as is are not game breaking. The lighting is the same, and texturs are the same.

The 360 version is only slightly better, not the huge difference some people might have you believe. You will have a great game no matter which version you have.

Sony got away with fxxking murder. I run a business renting games, PS2 must have had a built in timer to break down after 14months.

If you have both consoles you'll be getting the one that looks best. But if you're like most people who have one console or the other just pick it up for the machine you've got! If it's a good game underneath then don't let fanboys ruin it for you. All it means is that next gen can't come any sooner!

Other than that the games art direction is rather dull, Oblivion was rather dull art wise too though. And damn it is all gray! Gray can be done well (see KZ2) but there cannot be more than 4 colors going on here.

Bethesda nailed the scale but other than that its disappointing.

Its people with not very powerful PCs that eon't have a great experience but also people with really powerful PCs will have an experience both Xbox and PS3 owners could only wish for. Either way, everyone should enjoy it and stop being fanboys.

The PS3 is like a one leg hooker, allways limping along from one suck to another.

Most games that are on both the 360 and the ps3 are going to look at there best with the ps3. The ps3 goes up a lil bit higher in HD than the 360, the ps3 looks alot brighter in all areas But this can be quite bad for depending on what type of game you're playing. That doesn't excuse that the 360 looks superb still.

360 doesn't suck its just not as good as its hyped to be. ME is great needs some serious tweaking. Halo3 was alright when I first got it traded it in for GTA4 PS3. Gears is way overhyped I ploded through to see the graphics only. Viva not my type of game. Banjoe not going to play it for some reason I don't understand why they would drastically change a winning formula. Kameo was pretty good liked that game. Perfect dark not awful but not great. What other exclusives Too human flop but not bad. I mean seriously. HS was good but short. LAIR sucked but got better. Uncharted great, R&C great, R1 great, LBP great, WPHD great, MS1 great.... need I go on. The quality of these games are just not in 360s league the only exclusives that work right on the 360 are the rare games and epics Gears 1. All the rest look like the 360 is going to shut down. Oblivion ran like crap on the 360 once I got the PS3 version. To load you had to wait an eternity. The games that I like are not on the 360 they are PS3 games I wanted WPHD and I got it GOW3 I want that game. LBP new and creative want it. I get my halo fix with a fun shooter in Resistance. Halo still is the only reason to own an Xbox. Rumour has it that ME2 is multiplat huge loss to M$ but the game will be gimped anyway because of the Disc space of the DVD. Regardless its a good pickup.

ps3 may be the inferior version for this game but unless you're making comparisons then i'm sure it's a game worth playing regardless of what platfrom you play it on.

The 360 version has better depth of color, and the lighting was better. The textures looked better, but that was just because the lighting was better(you could see more of them). It even had a darker "feel" to it, which is exactly how I want my game playing experience to be with Fallout3. the PS3 version seemed a little choppy, but that could just be the video. it also seemed "soft" like with lighting....almost blurry. The best version? The highend PC version...thats true. But Thats the same structure you use when making a 360 game, so i can see where that would work out in the 360's advantage.

Whats the point here when everyone knows that the lead platform for the game was the 360? Bethesda revealed that themselves.

I think it was a bad video. It almost looks like both were shot at different times of day. The 360 looks like the morning, ps3 looks like late afternoon. This messes with all of the lighting and does not get a good comparison because of it.

With that said I have the PS3 version and I am happy with it. And I don't even have a HDTV. Some people on here are such graphics whores.

i have had zero problems and i am playing this game in native 1920x1200 at 60fps on high with a par of 9600gt. if people feel so strongly about graphics get a pc and no i am not calling no one out. u can buy or build a very cheap pc around 600 and connect it to your hdtv and play all games on a native 720p res and sometimes higher. hell u can find a $350 pc that can run most games in a native 720p and in good fps. im not going to lie console games are getting better and better and they do offer more games and sometimes better games but if u really want to play this game that are ment to be on pc then please think about if u want to compare graphics with too consoles that dont offer u anything that much better from each other. i know the 360 is getting exclusive stuff and the 360 is probly the way to go but this things are not good enough for me to go in the 360 rout this time.
