Anyone planning to stock up on Switch Pro Controllers in preparation for the release of Super Mario Party might want to reconsider, as the game won't support the alternative control method.
The Mario Party franchise is one of Nintendo's most successful IPs, but the last two games have put the next title's success in jeopardy.
The last one on the switch was the best one I've played since the gamecube gamed. What's this about
Hadn't played any since MP1 and played the newest one, it's really good. The other ones with the shared carriage I wasn't a fan of that I'd seen online though.
I think 1 or 2 of these is enough per system as long as it has enough mini games, replayability, maybe some unlockables and a good selection of boards/maps.
Last one was pretty good, I think the next one should have more maps from the GC era though. The N64 maps are boring.

Ι like joy con but I find those news really bad for the fans of pro controller.
I'm assuming some of the mini games will require motion from both joycons, which couldn't be replicated on the Pro controller.
Admittedly, I wasn't going to pick this up because the party was over after the series' peak - Mario Party 2 - but it still sucks for fans of the pro controller.
