Whats new? How does this surprise anyone?

360 was announced to be lead platform. Doesn't matter how hard you try, this gen consoles, the 360 has the advantage to be lead platform and have the best multiplat versions. Last gen the PS2 had that advantage.

Roles have switched. Just take that loss if you own a PS3.

To the one below. Not a trend? 99% of all multiplats run best on the 360. Sounds like a trend to me!

I seems like whenever a game comes out for the 360 and PC the PS3 always gets the bad port

I guess that what happens when your architecture differs so much from the PC, hopefully the same wont be true when FFXIII comes out

I read the whole review from top to bottom, and nowhere does it say that is a poor version of the game, their only gripes with it was inconsistant voice work for non important characters, lack of DLC, and the shooting isent as tight as alot of First Person Shooters.

Sometimes I really think people just see what they want to see, The Game got a 90% and that is no where near a bad game, I will probably get it for the Xbox360 because I want the DLC but if I dident have a choice I would pick up the PS3 version in a heart beat.

No, the first thing you and the mart will say is "Buh buh its a bad port!"

COD4/Burnout/Mirrors Edge/Deadspace are all great examples of games developed with PS3 technology in mind. If you want to develop games like MGS4/Uncharted/Gt5p/Resistance 2, you need the ps3. You can pretend that the Unreal Engine looks just as good as MGS4, but you are doing just that, pretending.

Everytime we talk about console power, the ps3 comes out on top. Because it has actual titles that are playable/played/coming out next year that show off its prowess. On the other hand in 360 land, you have you 4 guys getting excited because 1 version of a MULTIPLATFORM game has a smaller texture than the other. There is something wrong with that picture isn't there? Especially when the game gets an AAA score, which is what you guys worship in the first place.

Console power is shown from exclusives, not multiplatform games that are all optimized to run on a 360 without a HDD. Think next time folks.

I saw this when they posted these scans with LBP and another game along with F3. Why do these stories get approved multiple times with the same stuff?

what are the 360 fan going on about. i guess fallout 3 on PS3 is a 90% flop huh? man i tell you they change the the rules everytime... they tried to dismiss Bioshock as a lesser version. and now this... change the rules all the time.. oh well...

90% is still awesome people and the fact that it scored 90 just shows that Bethesda put the effort in making it a title worthj playing on PS3... unlike Fear on PS3 versus XBOX 360 and PC

90 is still an incredible game.

EDIT: I wish Bethesda took more time on the PS3 version, its annoying that there are still devs not fully optimizing.

I mean Oblivion was the same engine and looked alot better on PS3, but they don't look equal this time?

Look at EA, lately any game they publish looks identical but a lot of devs still aren't pulling it off. Ubisoft is horrible about it.

anywhere in the article, and i combed over it with a magnifying glass. i honestly dont believe that a playstation based magazine would ever print those words, so im assuming you made that quote up. someone cite it, or well all assume its fabricated.

btw, i jsut read this:

Look at bioshock for the PS3...the final game was flawless...Fallout 3 will be the same on both console. IGN will rate it a 9.5 for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Do not lose hope folks....There is always R2 and Little Big Planet, both of these games are better than Fable 2! And FAble 2 is a damn good game, just has a few flaws.....which does not make it a flop.

By all acounts I should laugh at hearing this news; Instead I feel pity for PS3 owners!

Fallout 3 is an amazing game, far better than Little Big Planet, Resistance 2 and many others.

Yet all you do is scream 'lazy developers' instead of facing facts. It is not Bethesda's fault this has happened. Just as it wasn't the fault of Capcom(Lost Planet), Konami(Pro Evo 08), Namco(Soul Calibur), Rockstar(Grand Theft Auto 4), Codemasters(Race Driver: GRID), 2K Games(Bioshock) and many others that 99% of all multiplatform games end up better on the 360.

The only one to blame is Sony!

They say that it plays almost as oblivion. It doesn't feel new. They also said it's not as fun exploring as oblivion was and most of the missions are not memorable. But they also said that the game is not for everyone. There you go. This is a rent. This or FAR CRY 2??? Honestly, i think i would have to play the game myself to like it. WTF is wrong with gamers these days..last gen i was happy picking a game with an average score of 75-80..and a 90-95 game is like dream coming true!! ppl are so weird now ..

And 90% is a AAA game. After all they gave Oblivion 93%, and say Fallout 3 has minor porting issues.

Okay I definitely disagree with you. If your trying not to be a fanboy Will I suggest you stop pulling ALL games that say "PS3" ,together and calling it crap. Thats just as worst as what a sony fanboy will say. Now of course Sony does have some flops on their hands this generation, but don't be a idiot and think Microsoft doesn't have crappy games either. Don't make that foolish statement saying PS3 hasn't caught up. That is dumb and if you truly believe that, you are slow on the times. When it comes down to it, the PS3 hardware is different to a PC or 360 hardware, therefore making it a "different" and "foreign" experience when coding for it. But it's just those things, different and foreign. When developers familiarize with the hardware, it's not bad. On this game the 360 was lead, LEAD. It's company preference at this point, and don't say it's lead because it's better. Bethesda is not EVERY developer.
Each console is great in their own way. Even Wii.

To People saying that it is just Oblivion with guns, did you ever play fallout 1 and 2? They have changed the combat system and tried to keep original fallout gamers happy with V.A.T.S. Aside from that what i have read they have kept the game true to the fallout series and from what i have seen so far it is looking good. If you haven't played fallout 2 go download, it is nice and free. Honestly from the way lots of you guys write you aren't that old and might not have been playing video games when fallout 2 came out, so now is your time to try it. It is buggy but fantastic at the same time.
