There's nothing wrong with having your opinion and not being a fan of Sony's exclusives. The problem comes in when you start convincing yourself of things that are either completely untrue, or things that you could not possibly know.

1st of all, as someone else mentioned, you don't sell over 80 million consoles on marketing and empty hype.

2nd, how can you possibly know how old all the reviewers are of God of War? Lol. I mean, what a ridiculous assumption to make. It's a reviewer's job to explain how good a particular game is. God of War happens to be an incredible game. Is it different than the old games? Sure. But it's still an incredible game that deserves all of the extremely high ratings it got from pretty much every reviewer on the planet. You will almost never see a reviewer lower a game's score because it was changed from the previous titles. Unless the new game is bad. Reviewers review games based on certain things, mainly story, graphics, sound, gameplay, and whether the game has bugs or not. You can't review a current game based on what games of the past were like.

So again, you can have your opinions, but you should realize you are in the minority, and stop trying to convince yourself of unrealistic and baseless reasons for games being successful. I'm 36 years old, have played all of the God of War games, and LOVED the new one. And guess what? There are tons of people that felt the same.

I think they are going to deliver this time. What better time to do so especially at the most biggest gaming event in America. They are already having great deals on the Xbox one x. Now they just gotta hit a home run with the games.

What I find nteresting is they seem to get ready for next gen and Phil even mentioned it.
Next year seems even more likely for announcements.

I haven't played the first one yet. Luckily it's really cheap these days so i can get it for a good deal.

Couldn't believe how bad his voice was for this game. The first switch up after the first game was jarring....particularly if you played the remasters in succession, but that was just god awful. Even the disney voices were poorly done....which isn't usually something Disney is known for.

If it's the same as 3 you can play single player but jump into other people games as you please it worked well

the sequel to the highest rated exclusive racer this gen, and it looks insane with 72 player servers, native 4k/60fps open world.....its pretty exciting

You on the other hand hate the PC, as you've expressed many times, so what does it matter if their games are on PC too? You won't be playing them either way. No. Because Microsoft has made it abundantly clear for about two years now (if not more) that all of their Xbox games will also be available on Windows 10.

I was so hyped when I recognized the voice actor from the first one. Also I noticed the wires that run from building to building that you run across looked very Dying Light esque. Looks amazing and I still play the first game online with my bros...awesome game.

They showed the Lego heads and it got quiet fast. Lol!

Hopefully will step up PSNow to get it back to where it's device independent. It started off like that, but then they backed off, and they really shouldn't have. The service itself is fine though, but I think they need a purchase model for games instead of relying on the sub model and library structure that they do now.

I did kind of laugh when MS made it out like they were leading the future and cited a streaming service as an example. The talk about making AI for the future was kind of dumb, because there are a number of devs doing that, and MS hasn't shown a single thing to indicate they're doing any better than anyone else in that field.

Presumably these new studios will be tasked with making games for the next gen.

That new AAA studio is nice. The rest, not so much. Forza. Gears. Halo all expected. Look it was a fun conference and I enjoyed it as a PS4 and PC gamer. My highlight was Sekiro, the From Software game. They showed a hell of a lot of awesome 3rd party games.
