EA is always 75% boring sports games. Always the worst conference every year for me.

I think they'll be booed off the stage and then out the door...Here's hoping

i'll see it because seeing all the conference is a sort of tradition, i don't think to be surprised by EA anyway

I always hate EA of everything, not just their boring conference.

I think the Author is a bit of an @rseh0le to be honest.

When you construct a closed and negative article you need a balance so that you don't come across and a negative Nancy.

This guy fits the bill.

That said, my opinion is that while some people don't want to hear from EA, much like I feel about Activision. Some will want to hear what they have to say.

So to the Author, I say "First there is no evidence there is such a thing as a 'god' and second of all if you feel this way about EA, do not under any circumstances cover EA's E3 conference and let the rest of us who want to, enjoy it."

Best part of the show IMO, I love running down to Domino's pizza and grabbing a medium Canadian with an order of cheese sticks, and they give me the perfect opportunity to do so. Thank you EA.

Lets just hope that after their conference something good is next like Fromsoftware's new IP so I don't eat that pizza for nothing.

What better way to announce more microtransactions in games, and make Bioware feel the live or die feeling if Anthem flops then E3.

I bet one could make a drinking game out of it. Take a shot every time someone says "Micro-Transaction," "Loot Box," "DLC," "Season Pass," or "Give me your money you stupid c*nts."

I'm sure we'll hear the usual ramblings from CEO Andrew Wilson, going on and on about the joy of 'play', and how 'play' should be at the heart of everything we do.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
