Wont happen, Capcom sold the rights to the series to some random mobile game studio

Godmars2902994d ago (Edited 2994d ago )

That site is total crap. Also no indication that full rights were sold or just rights for a mobile game.

That Dante was in the last MvC, makes an appearance in Monster Hunter, also suggest you're wrong.

Edit:
Though there is a trailer:

Personally I like DmC better than 4 by far. So I'd rather DmC2. Bring on the downvotes

ThanatosDMC2994d ago

Couldnt downvote fast enough and then report as spam.

TheOttomatic912994d ago

PFFFTHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Here’s your downvote

Einhander19712994d ago

Agreed Dmc is a great game, I have devil may cry 4 it was good but not amazing.

Seraphim2994d ago

I thought DMC 4 was great. The real problem *10 year old spoiler* was that you essentially went through the game forwards then backwards. That and people hating on Nero. Overall though I really enjoyed it. I'd take DMC 3 or Ninja Theorys' DMC over it any day of the week but in it's own right it was a solid game. I'd say even the OG DMC but honestly, that's best left as a memory. The era of making rooms to small and bad camera angles....

Not sure when Ninja Theorys DMC dropped but it has been quite some time. SO yeah, we're definitely due for a new DMC. And we're long overdue for an Onimusha reboot.

gangsta_red2994d ago

Not if it in the same style as DmC4, I love that game but the part where you play the game in reverse was complete BS.

Teflon022994d ago

That was literally one of the reasons I actually hate 4 so much

CAPCOM and GOG Team Up to Preserve Classic Games, Including Devil May Cry Series

AlanOC91 said: Great news for fans of classic games, as CAPCOM and GOG are teaming up once again to bring more titles to the GOG Preservation Program. As announced on CAPCOM's blog, two Devil May Cry games will be joining the program: Devil May Cry HD Collection and DMC 4 Special Edition.

VersusDMC341d ago

I love DMC but why are we preserving games that are available to purchase right now everywere?

Maybe first work on Breath of fire, Strider 2, Rival Schools, viewtiful joe, etc...

10 Years On, Was Ninja Theory's DmC Really That Bad?

NInja Theory's DmC isn't as well loved as other Devil May Cry games, but 10 years after its release, does it hold up?

Not to me. I enjoyed it immensely.

Elda1226d ago

How folks are downvoting the fact that you enjoyed something is ridiculous.

DarXyde1226d ago (Edited 1226d ago )

I didn't enjoy it much. I played it when it was available on Plus back in the day and I think the problem was that I viewed it as a bizarre take on Devil May Cry. As its own game, it's probably easier to like and appreciate, but I struggled to make that distinction. Even then, I really was not a fan of the weapons or cinematic 30fps for an action game. Dialogue was a bit too try hard for me too. Most of all, I really didn't like the controls.

There's something about Ninja Theory games where they look interesting, I give them a try, and they're not for me. Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, DmC, and even Hellblade (though I felt Hell blade was the best of them). If you guys enjoyed it, I'm happy for you and I wish I could too, honestly. I know a decent amount of people who at least liked it, but it really wasn't for me.

Ah well.

Obelisk921226d ago

@Elda it's a disagree... if they didn't enjoy it, they downvote.
Why does everyone take downvoting as something personal. lol

jambola1226d ago

I don't think the problem was weather or not it was bad
just like making resident evil actiony and not scary, not bad, just clearly not understanding your audience

Knushwood Butt1226d ago

I quite liked it actually.

Always wanted to get the PS4 version but never got around to it.

Sciurus_vulgaris1226d ago

I enjoyed it. However, it’s the only Devil May Cry game I have ever fully played through.

-Foxtrot1226d ago

Pretty much and I like to think with DMC5 out people can see how bad it was in comparison.

coolbeans1226d ago

You don't even have to leap that far ahead. When I picked up the Definitive Edition (on sale), I was surprised to see some of the gameplay tweaks that weren't there for the DmC OG. Look at what DMC4 could pull at 60fps compared to DmC at 30fps. Still a stunning comparison on the base hardware.

Nerdmaster1226d ago

I finished DmC, but did't feel compelled to play DMC5 for more than a couple of hours. DMC5 is still in my "I should try to finish it someday" list, but I kind of always forget it exists...

mgszelda11225d ago

But 5 was also predictable and its finale felt so similar to 3.
