
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is experiencing its first significant drop in players since its early access launch, but there are some steps Bluehole and PUBG Corporation can take to avoid any major drops beyond the inevitable.

From GI.biz: "Krafton, the Korea-based publisher behind PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, released its Q3 financial results alongside news on how it's expanding its collection of studios.
The company reported that it saw revenues of $328.5 million and net profits of $171.5 million, the latter marking a year-on-year improvement of 27%.
Krafton also announced it plans to acquire Neon Giant, the developer behind The Ascent, and open a new studio in Canada."

I really like the game but it can be a bit of the same old thing, drop, loot, run to escape blue zone which can take ages of running and seeing no one, get killed by sniper/camper and or the circling sharks of cars at the end, repeat.
I always had a feeling this game didn't have much staying power, it just invented a new game mode. In a year or two most games will have a battle grounds mode, it's just a new game mode like horde mode before it.
