A key for me is to keep the history and universe as part of the game. ACM had wave after wave of Aliens but their numbers greatly overshone the population of the colony as well as what was lost in aliens and the explosion. Give us a reason for hundreds of creatures.

I still want them to revisit the shelves/cancelled Obsidian Aliens game ..

Meh, the only Aliens game that was good was Isolation, this just sounds like Colonial Marines.

Better in the hands of the unknown, than the greedy mitts of the bigger AAA companies.

I still hope Creative Assembly get another run at an Alien game though.

Why do Alien games always get announced like this? No trailer just some mysterious statement about a game gets released.

Just release Alien Isolation 2, that game was fantastic.

A new alien game sounds awesome. After recently watching alien covenant, that would be cool fighting off alien, aliens and also having to deal with David...

PLease, just dont suck.

I wish Sega/Fox would revive the Obsidian's Aliens: Crucible. It was looking really interesting, with perma-death for companions, with morale system, with hub, where you can escort people you saved.

And Creative Assembly would probably do another great Alien game as well.

Personally, i'm kind of "fed up" with Alien shooters and this studio is unknown.

If it's like Isolation then I look forward to it.

All I want is an Alien Isolation sequel made by the same developers.

hope its not like evolve, 4v1 or 8v1 game, i can see them doing this for some reason.

Aliens (Alien number 2 movie) has the perfect setting for a game, but sadly it hasn't receive any good representation in a game form.

I seriously hope it's as convoluted and horrible as the Prometheus movies.

Looking forward to this (with guarded expectations). I quite liked Rebellion’s 2010 game. Was a masterpiece compared to Colonial Marines.

I think a shooter with a good story and co-op would be ideal. I would like to see multiple online modes and let players play as both Alien and Human.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
