VR gaming is here to stay, and evolve. However, that evolution may be moving at too fast of a rate for companies to keep up.

Viveport, the VR retail platform from HTC is now giving developers 90% of their game revenue, instead of a 70/30 spilt like Steam.
It could be free and it wouldn't matter at this point. There isn't really a PCVR Market and I say that as a PCVR user. It is modders and enthusiasts with a few retail products on Steam.

Are you planning a Halloween Party this year? How about those friends and family that live far away? Vive has a plan for you.
I'm pretty sure everyone is going to the VR chat Halloween Party already.

Morels: Homestead, a relaxing game in which you can create your own unique homestead, is available now for PC VR.
Vive 2 must be fully wireless, 120fps min, full field of view and have 4K ghosting-free screens on both eyes ans last but not least, be less than 800 bucks.
there just needs to be a way to support locomotion, dont get me wrong, theres solutions, but too pricey, some are getting kickstarted....
we are 4 years away from true vr, next gen consoles will have it right, light weight, 299$max , no external sensors , screen door effect fixed, full field of view, wireless with option to plug in. higher res and fps. all that is doable right now, they have some amazing vr ar tech that we dont get to play with. in 4 years we will have what i described and at 299. and if sony or ms want this to be the next big thing and not the next fad then they have to have full fledged games as well and maybe a 199 pricepoint and rely on the games and services to recoup the cost. the world is not jumping in at 499 plus the console and games
a million to 3 million sold will not cut it.. for this to be mainstream it needs to hit 20 mill to make a scratch and about to 40mill to make a dent in gaming
I’m gonna buy VR for my PC. But I’m waiting for a newer version from either Oculus or HTC.
mainstream VR has only been out for a year. How fast do you expect it evolve?
