I agree. The Switch won. MO and XBC2 alone were enough, but more indie exclusives helped put em over the top.

Have to say that Xbox is in a 3rd place, if PS4 or Switch is in first, well, probably depends on your tastes and interests, they both did fantastic.

According to facts, Playstation won Q4 too. They had the best black Friday in history and they outsold both Xbox and Switch. They also, for the first time in the history of UK, are dominating more than 50% of the whole market. They also reached 70 million consoles sold and released more quality exclusive game than any other competitor throughout the year.

Those are the facts and not individual opinions.

Nice to see the MS and Xbox rhetoric of just choosing Q4 is still alive and well. GT Sport and UC: LL are what Sony released in Q4, along with the Frozen Wilds Expansion. They only had some Indie games which I will leave out for the sake of balance... Anyways below are 12 Exclusive games on PS4 in 2017. Most rated very highly.
I cant see how PUBG is a notable release in it's current state.

I'd say Nintendo followed by PS4 then Xbox Switch is doing great with their sales and Mario Odyssey has sold 5 million copies in just 2 months thats incredible.

To anybody that loved Skies of Arcadia, you owe it to yourself to check out Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.

I just finished playing it and still thinking about it. I feel it totally fell under the radar for most, which is a shame. It has the same sense of adventure, likeable characters, good soundtrack. The combat feels smooth and natural with special attack eye candy to look forward to.

Story-wise, it’s got humor to sadness.... it’s got it all.

Your adventure starts when you get ship wrecked on a deserted island of legend. With your small party, you have to seek out all the other survivors from the ship. As you find more, they bring their unique expertise to help with building up your base of operation with the ultimate goal of building a ship. Finding more survivors also helps unlock certain parts of the island while uncovering the legend of Dana. I can’t elaborate without spoiling, but the game is really cool!

If you’re up for a fun adventure, this game will not disappoint. Get it nao!

PS4, if you have been following the industry at all in Q4. A word of advice for fellow journalists: don't make it obvious if you're not on top of the latest news.

I don't really know, i could say PS4/Switch but i don't know which one to pick. I think that one completes the other one, i could say that, for me, it's a tie (i finally bought a Switch today with Mario Odyssey!). I won't abandon my Ps4 of course, i'll find time for both :P

P.S. i see the usual Xbone fanboys made up their circus show again with clown comments... incredible, almost sad.

Easily X1X Imo. Mario Odessey was a good game but since X1X dropped I literally haven't looked back on selling my Ps4 at all. Now I don't think I'll ever even need one again. There's no point really. The couple exclusives on PS4 I even remotely care about aren't good enough to warrant another PS4 purchase

The person who wrote this article only chose Q4 to try and hate Sony’s current marketing strategy, while conveniently ignoring the rest of the year. Who won Q4? The console that sold the most. Even the world’s most powerful netflix box couldn’t stop the PS4 train.

In terms of Q4 sales, PS4 won. In terms of Q4 games, Switch won with Mario Odyssey.

All honesty, my PS4 wasnt touched much this year. That's just how it ended up. Switch and Xbox was used constantly.
But, Ni No Kuni 2, Last of Us 2, and Ghosts of Tishumia(don't know the spelling) looks to be what will get me to go hard in the paint with the PS4 2018

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
