Yes there is. The ps3 version was a native 720p. This will be a native 1080p. This is a different occasion than the Okami remaster which was already native 1080p on ps3 so if you’re buying it now over the ps3 version, it better be for the physical release as well as the added 4k support. Otherwise, If you’re stuck on a 1080p display, Okami on current gen offers no visual benefit over the ps3 remaster. On ps3, it already internally rendered at a higher than 1080p resolution and downsampled from that.

This collection, on the other hand, was only ever 720p and will now be 1080p so while I’m very angry at Capcom for being lazy and not supporting 4K on the upgraded consoles, I’m still buying this over the ps3 version I have been considering for years because it wil still offer a boost over the ps3 version. Something you won’t get with Okami unless you’re on a 4k display.
