This year is one of the best for racing game fans. What should be noted though, is that Codemasters has already been killing it this year.

78 employees have been placed at risk of redundancy, including some on the executive team.

Epic claims a leaker with over 13,000 social media followers worked for the company on a contract basis.
I know this isn't the only one. Pretty much any Twitter insider on Fortnite with a long record of accuracy is just there for marketing.

They sure killed Micro Machines.
They should do another GRID, the first one was phenomenal when it came out
It's a great year for sims or near-sim like games but apart from Need for Speed, where are the arcade racers gone? Wheres the Motorsport, ridge racers, Split Seconds, Burnouts of this gen? The closed I've played to a good arcade racer this gen is GTAO and that's not even made as a racer.
