I hate this purchasable key system. You should be able to earn keys for free by playing the game with an option to gamble by buying keys for free money.

..It's a battle royal subgenre, closer to being a mod than a genuine full game made by either 1 person or a small team who are all now filthy rich.. Why did you even begin to start trying to defend microtransactions?...

How about, "Finish the game while you sell a million copies a month"...

My god this game has more sales than Zelda and people would stand up for milkin the pockets dry already?

If microstransactions are just for things like crates which only contain cosmetic items that have no effect on anything other than the look of your character then I have no problem with them at all and I don't see why others are so bothered about them either. You don't like then don't buy!

Krafton profits up to $171.5 million despite lowest quarter since 2020

From GI.biz: "Krafton, the Korea-based publisher behind PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, released its Q3 financial results alongside news on how it's expanding its collection of studios.

The company reported that it saw revenues of $328.5 million and net profits of $171.5 million, the latter marking a year-on-year improvement of 27%.

Krafton also announced it plans to acquire Neon Giant, the developer behind The Ascent, and open a new studio in Canada."
