Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "To say that E3 2017 would be Nintendo’s most important showing at the expo in over 10 years would be an understatement. The company is in the midst of a resurgence with the Nintendo Switch selling out almost as soon as they hit store shelves and the company’s intellectual properties being as popular as they have ever been, so it was clear that Nintendo needed a big showing at E3 2017 in order to keep themselves in the game with the Switch into 2018 and beyond. Well now that the doors to the show have closed and all the games have been announced its starting to become very clear, Nintendo won E3 2017."

They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
To be honest, they were all pretty lackluster, Nintendo included. I wouldn't say there was a clear, undisputed winner at all.
Nintendo was safe. They showcased what they are known for which I'm quite sure pleased the fans but there were no wow factors just the usual Nintendo software. There were really no winners.
Nintendo won E3? Mario+Rabbids was fantastic. Mario Odyssey looks great even though I still hate that NY world. Fire Emblem is always going to smash it, Xenoblade as well. Yoshi kinda failed, they could have done so much better. Kirby looks interesting. No footage of Metroid 4 means that's likely to take a while before we see anything. Almost as if they pushed that teaser for those on the fence looking for more software before making a purchase. I think they had a strong showing but I wouldn't call it the best nor would i call it robust. But it was a step in the right direction and if they can continue....
