hmm i didnt like Destiny , this seems more promising to be honest (probably has the artist teams form Titanfall and that s a good thing)....though if it is a again an FPS only game i wont even touch it

Called it. Biowares new Ip will be showcased by MS. Pretty obvious tbh they had many partnerships in the past.

The teaser trailer looks pretty awesome even if though it does seem to take alot of cues from Destiny, however, my issue is this. How can Bioware rightfully push this game so soon after they released an embarrassing Mass Effect? It bothers me that we are supposed to believe in your new space IP "Anthem" when just months earlier you released your flagship space IP "ME:A" in a disastrous state. Andromeda was an embarrassment to the series, how could you let your biggest and most prestigious franchise turn out like that? Perhaps ppl should've been pulled off of Anthem to ensure Andromeda would be a higher quality product?

I know Bioware lost "the doctors" and many important members but quite frankly i expected Mass Effect to maintain a certain level of excellence. It just shocks me that they can churn out a garbage Mass Effect and turn around and expect full belief in a somewhat similar new IP. I know large studios have multiple internal teams, but my trust in Bioware is seriously shaken. We'll see.

I agree with you Tyler, it seems too soon after the ME:A trainwreck to hype this up. I am hopeful that the talent that's left at Bioware has been making this game instead of that abysmally awful (M)Ass Effect game.

If Anthem doesn't blow me away, it may just end up being Bioware's swan song instead.

@Salooh I definitely agree, believe it or not this was somewhat diminishing for MS. Not saying they're doomed or any where near that, but MS E3 show is much bigger than EA's it would have been way more epic if MS brought out Bioware themselves and showed the FULL reveal. Though EA would of gotten heat if they didn't show off their rumored Ip. Considering its been rumored for a few years now.

Because the don't want to show Scorpio before M$ and that's where they want to showcase it. It is their game though, so they had to announce it so their fans know what's next.

To those already freaking out at the speculation Scorpio will be native 2160 and Pro dynamic. Mass Effect is 1800p on Pro and 900p on xb1. That is current, that is the same company and it's right now... and it's a much bigger difference. So relax, bc u certainly aren't mentioning 1800 to 900p and very few ppl are in general, so no need to get nasty about Anthem releasing mid 2018 potentially being native to Pro's dynamic. Also, Bioware of 2017/2018 unfortunately isn't Bioware of 1998-2012. That being said, the teaser trailer looks pretty awesome.

Horizon is pretty much like Uncharted?? wow!! do you game bro?? Or did you even check out Horizon zero dawn...

First I thought, "Attack on Titan". Then I thought, "Horizon" because of the creature. Two things which are represented elsewhere, and just came to mind.

Doesn't mean he's, or I, are implying that the game will be anything like Horizon, and i don't think bioware/EA were trying to piggyback on the success of that game by showing the creature. It was just an ominous thing that the person in the trailer was talking about, and used to pique one's interest.

Why be so defensive over it?

Vibes happen because we relate things to what we know, and our own experiences. That's exactly what trailers do....make people relate what they see to their own experience to illicit an emotional response, and hopefully generate interest.
