with the first one is that u can end with only one gun sure there are parts where u need rocket launcher but most of the time its 1 gun that was my major concern. i hope they resolve it with this one and make variety in game like half-life 2 did. environment still good but buildings i hope they have more than buildings in KZ 2. what do u say guys?

gaming companys are showing wayyyyyyyyy too much of their games before release. While Im definatley going to be buying Gears of War 2, LBP, Fable 2, Killzone 2, etc.. I've seen so much of these games way before they are even due out, that it totally demolishes any bit of me being excited for them. Sure they are big games that are going to be super sick, but why do gamers push so much to see the content that badly?. I know you could look away (as I did on this video), but they are plasterd all over everything and you are kinda forced to see most of it. Definately am looking forward to KZ2 and LBP though as there definately aren't games that could even compete on the graphical fidelity of KZ2 on 360 or the user generated content of LBP. I do like my 360 a lot though. But PS3 is starting to show that 360 needs the amazing visuals of Gears 2 to go way beyond even those graphics if it wants to win people over with eyecandy... it needs to. PS3 is a little late at it, but now is showing how much the 360 truely is aged (tech wise). KZ2 is one exclusive of many exclusives that make me proud to own a PS3 (60 gig thank god). Although I prefer my multiplatform games to be played on my 360. I just honestly hope this game does truely look even better than it has been with how long it has before it comes out. I hope we already aren't looking at its finalized graphics. With Insomniac being a 1st party dev for Sony, I really wish Resistance would look this polished... they have as much access to dev tools as Guerilla is, Im sure? but I also cannot wait for my CE of R2!

The fact that they come up with individual factions and put this much detail into the background of the characters. The gameplay of the first title may not have lived up to expectations, but the Killzone universe sure holds up to criticism.

This rifle isn't particularly "new", I have seen it in one of the demo videos of KZ2, but it does look totally awesome!!!

Reminds of the Resistance 1 Human rifle, forgotten whats its called. Also there was this design for Sourceforst 2.0 (mod for HL2:Deathmatch) which has a gun design which also reminded me of Resistance 1 rifle.

How modders( like from Fpsbanana), much younger then the professional developers can make higher quality weapon models and skins then the professionals. :)

this is gonna be disaster.. the game was that runs at 30fps and its not even a PORT..???!!! MAN IT WOULD START LAGGING OUT OF THE BOX the add the only multiplayer it might do 20fps and u see ppl doing light speed jumps realtime.. peace to georgeforeman grills(ps3)

Sony really does need another mainline shooter franchise. They pretty much gave up after the PS3 generation, and I'm really surprised they haven't tried at another high-profile, singleplayer-centric shooter; even if it weren't Killzone or Resistance.

I miss Killzone while I can see why they still do Horizon has some really good things but I do think that Horizon is overrated imo.

Or how about studios focus on projects that they feel passionate about, and not be forced to make something they have little interest in. It shows in the final product.

It’s still got potential for the modern era. The DNA is all there. The install base is there. The interest is there. The time is now.

I’m beating a dead horse here… but Resisitance FOM gun lay out was so fun, multiplayer was one of my top favorite experiences. Insomniac nailed it and I would love a remaster and maybe a redo with Reisistance 2. They listens to players who were wanting a Halo killer and it kind of lost its character from the first.

Warhawk, if they had just remade the first one not Starhawk which offered nice things like the build and battle.. but Warhawk was the best arcade shooter I ever played. Back when you didn’t have battle passes and you actually had to get certain amount of kills or ribbons to unlock different paint skins on the Warhawks and armor for your player.. Look at the success of Helldivers 2, it’s a fun game and it reminds me of Warhawk in a way. I’ve been wanting a remake or sequel since the beginning of the ps4 gen.. it’s hurts to have hope nowadays. Even with the demise of the studios Sony has a steady fan base.

Killzone game after Killzone 2 play style would be nice

PS3 ended up been a beast of a console, slow out of the gate, picked up steam, smashed through the finish line. The 1st PS3 slim is still one of my favourite consoles. So solid, great games, by the time GTA5 and the last of us had come out it was a clear winner for me

Sorry bud, but the PS3 generation was amazing and featured the greatest console comeback in history.

That said, I'd love it if Warhawk returned or Metal Gear Solid 4. It needs to not be shackled to the PS3 generation anymore. A Killzone 2 remake would be insane with modern graphics and that art direction.

I really miss this gen of gaming. It felt like the last truly "great" era for videogames before the modern approach really took hold.

The PS3 was such a glorious console. The UI, the games, the free online...just incredible.

I would pay good money for a Warhawk remake. Socom too. The last Socom game just didn’t do it justice. Folklore could use a remaster or remake as well.
Several other titles I would like to remade with the amount of visual fidelity the current gen has over the past consoles it could help articulate the games that we’ve loved growing up. I would love even some ps2 titles to remade.. Dark Cloud from ps2, Legacy of Kain series but don’t know what will come of it sense it was bought by Embracer group and all there layoffs.

This strategy is exactly what helped ruin Xbox. Sony more than Microsoft know when to let a franchise go and that is important to keep things fresh. The old games are there if you want to play them.

Resistance series and Killzone 2 & 3 remasters/remakes. Make it happen. They will print money.

FF13 is top of this list for me. No matter your opinion on it, it being the only numbered offline FF out of all 16 not to be on new consoles is odd. GTA IV would be great too

The only reason my PS3 is still connected is because of the Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm games that I still love to play. I am for remaking or remastering them.

I was never a huge fan of Killzone, but thoroughly enjoy Horizon. Guerrilla are superb developer and easily up there with the best of the best.

Need a killzone 2 remake from the ground up.

Great studio, loved the Killzone series, I wish they would do a remake of the first three games. Horizon is a real step up and truly put Guerrilla Games on the map.

Too bad I never got a chance to play Shellshock: Nam’67 would have loved to try that game out back in the days to see what were their beginnings.

Bring back killzone (maybe in 3rd person perspective)

It would fantastic to see what they could do in Killzone after the lessons learned through Horizon.

Or heck, give us even a short linear FPS from the people who designed Cauldron THETA in the Burning Shores expansion. Even just flying into it (after gliding around and finding its opening amongst the lava and Sunwings perched around it, with other bigger machines just along the path toward it) was an incredible experience.

Forbidden West is awesome, It’s pretty damn big compared to Zero Dawn and it takes a little while to get your skills up and get the equipment you need to fully explore the game (not going to spoil it) but once you do those things and start fighting the big ass machines it really is amazing. Some cool side quests to where you hold the fate of peoples lives by your choice and the cauldrons look amazing. Lots of skills , combos, special moves and add ons for your weapons so you can approach fights many ways. Looking forward to the name game but I wonder how/if Silas will be a part of it or not ? Sad he’s gone.

I'm hyped for whenever Horizon 3 releases but Killzone 1 needs a remake BAD and 2 & 3 need remasters. Criminal those games are stuck on PS3.
