Although it would certainly be a step down from the Wii U's web browser, which lets you use one screen for typing while the TV screen is still up. (this post was made BY that very Wii U screen, actually.XD)
No browser? EPIC FAIL
I think they need to allocate as much RAM to gaming as possible. Online gaming, LAN and Virtual Console before another nice web browser. A basic one to search daily news is fine.
