As much as I love Sony brand, I would never see them as a people champ or any corporation. I know, I'm a business major, and I have one goal, take money from consumer to make money.

If not, I honestly think the 360 will become a better platform when MS leaves the focus of it.
I know this is crazy, bear with me on this;

Imagine the types of games that could come out for it, No more special certifications and viewing processes, nor more limits. More games like EDF2017 and budget gaming, small time PC developers will be able to hop on the 360 and deliver an entertaining experience due to the easy porting, MS's attitude of everything has to be 'AAA' and follow a current trend is ridiculous.

I think that's the way its heading. The life of the 360 will really begin once MS shift focus from it but still support it like the way Sony are keeping the PS2 alive.
Ironically, I think the best games for 360 will happen once MS have moved on to whatever next, 720 or whatever.

Crazy ideas from a mainly PS3 fanboy, eh? But imagine the possibilities if small time developers had a chance with the architecture of the XBOX last generation if it wasn't shut down. Just think about that for a moment, but think of it with the 360. It may bring shovelware, but it may bring some brilliant, quirky games without 'XBOX360' and 'XBL' pasted all over it. This could even be homebrew, just imagine it.

That's why I moved my focus fully to console gaming and got myself a PS3 and 360 and just forgot about my PC. Do you really want the consoles to go 'out of date' every four years?
Like the rate top quality PC gaming is nearly impossible to keep up with due to hardware to upgrade in order to play a game?

But with the 360, I wouldn't be suprised, they did it with the XBOX for no apparent reason, why not the 360?

Most businesses actually have no plans to upgrade to Vista as it offers few benefits over XP. In addition, upgrading would entail numerous compatibility issues, as well as require massive hardware upgrades in order to support the high demands of the OS.

As for consumers, Microsoft has been on a huge advertising spree trying to convince them to upgrade. So far, it hasn't worked very well.

Are you joking me!...vista is the biggest piece of dog crap ive ever seen. We had it on our computer for about 3 weeks and it was the worst 3 weeks ever.

If you want an operating system that eats up your RAM and is compatible with NOTHING.....get vista.

The same company that screwed up Vista (in your eye's at least) will suddenly do a 180 and start making magic OS'es that will run on 512 ram and a single core.

And remember, ealier adopters always get the best, because the first product never has any bugs or kinks to be worked out in later service packs.

Another advantage is that you don't have to deal with the uncomfort of NOT being on the bandwagon.

What is it about music software that isn't supported by Linux? Last I checked you could play MP3's and anything else on Linux with the rigth software. Including a iTunes clone that worked with iPods.
