I know what youre getting at (I think I do) and youre right, I cant argue. ND are saints and MS are scum, thats how the reaction is.

But I can only say character and past history matter. ND often praise other devs and this feels genuine. MS are often thought of as underhanded so people regard them as such.

Is it completely fair? Probably not, Im sure theyre not all bad. Phil seems like an alright guy, Im sure I could have a beer with him, but he also feels like he has an oily used car salesman persona. Never 100% honest. And the gift comes off as sucking up given whats going on with Kojima and Sony at the moment and MS being shunned.

Im just saying, you cant blame people for factoring history and hearsay into their opinions. Have you ever meet a crocodile face to face? Maybe, but I doubt it, most people havent, but I guarantee you, you wouldnt pat one on the head, if you did, and thats because of what you know about them and what youve heard.
