It's nice getting remasters of games that I don't own. However, if I have the original then I don't see the point..

I've played loads of awesome remasters that I didn't play the original of, love em. Wouldn't have experienced Uncharted 1-3, Last of Us, or GTA V if it wasn't for them. Skyrim next which I haven't played before!

Ssx, timesplitters, burnout and midnight club series of games are the only remasters I would consider worth it, and don't give me that crap about introducing new gamers to games that they couldn't play before, most of these remastrers are 3rd party games that are barely 2-3 years old and the rest, well did these "new" gamers only recently graduate from walking to having full use of they're motor skills to be interested in getting into gaming ?

Falling for? Shut up man, people buy what they damn well please. They buy what they want. Maybe they have never played those games before. You don't know. I don't like them, but I know people will buy what they want, and people like you need to shut up and stop writing crap and report on real gaming news, not flooding gaming media with utter regurgitated crap.

Because some had never played those games. Like me for Bioshock and UC collection.

Remasters are fine, there are plenty games from last generation that were great and worth still having a life, there are also alot of gamers out there that were not able to play some of these titles also. and to get them remastered at a nice low price is a boon. I for one didn't get to play the batman games and had no interest in playing the batman on the PS4 that focused on the batmobile. so to get a collection was great (I really wanted origins though)
Releasing a Burnout collection remastered would make many,many people happy as well.
The only down side is publishers who are charging an arm and a leg for them , Like the situation with Randy Pitchfork and Bulletstorm. The only solace I have when it comes to that situation is I can probably grab the remastered Bulletstorm for the PS4 for under 20.00 by next month. Randy being a jerk to gamers really pays off...for us! HAHA! take that Pitchfork!

I like having the the option to purchase remasters. I don't get why people are so against them.
I bought Skyrim again but I buy it for every machine I own. I will also be buying Crash N. Sane Trilogy.
I bought Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition for $6 on sale but haven't played it yet. Keep the remasters coming I'd say.
