Historically, the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games have used a traditional means of progression: a linear list of songs that you complete one at a time, permanently unlocking them for future use. Rock Band 2, however, won't have any such list: to unlock songs, you'll have to play either the game's World Tour mode, or play through the new Tour Challenges, where you play several sets of songs at a time. With the game's release less than two weeks away, it seemed like a good time to take a closer look at the Tour Challenges.
The mode is split up into seven tiers, which roughly correspond to the seven difficulty rankings in the game:
• The Impossible Challenges (Impossible)
• Legendary Act (Nightmare)
• Headliner (Challenging)
• Chart Topper (Moderate)
• Opening Act (Solid)
• Underground Favorite (Apprentice)
• Local Upstart (Warmup)

The joy of achievements and trophies. You've got to love them. Here are five of the most outrageous, mischievously difficult, near impossible culprits.
If you bought The Stanley Parable on release day you can unlock the "don't play for 5 years" achievement.

Those Were the Days - Legends of Rock. A look back at one drunken evening that brought to light the best thing about Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
Nice. I remember so many drunken nights with Guitar Hero and Rock Band. So much fun to be had.
