It’s that time of the year again: E3 is just a few weeks away! That means now is the perfect time to start sharing some of our plans for one of the gaming industry’s biggest annual events.
Today, we’re excited to announce that the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing will take place Monday, June 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m. PDT. During the briefing, you’ll have a chance to check out everything from in-depth looks at previously-announced games to trailers for our unannounced titles coming in 2016 and beyond. You can watch the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing live beginning at 9:30 a.m. PDT on June 13 on Xbox.com, the Xbox Twitch Channel, via the Xbox Live Events Player on Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles, or on the big screen at your local Microsoft store. You can also watch the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing on Spike TV in the U.S. and Canada at 9:30 a.m. PDT / 12:30 p.m. EDT.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

Dear team,
Xbox has always been different.
We started with a simple idea. Games should bring people together through shared experiences. That led to the first Xbox in 2001, Xbox Live in 2002, and new ways to connect, from friends lists and achievements to parties and play across devices. Today, Xbox reaches over 500 million players around the world, with some of the most important franchises in entertainment.
If they go back to exclusive games it at least shows that they are finally getting it. They would be turning down immediate money for something that will potentially workout in the long term.
Only issue is they've already opened Pandora's box. A lot of their base has moved to PC or jumped to PS. So will be a long road to get back on track.
We have been saying this from day one exclusives are a must if you are going to be selling hardware look at Nintendo and Sony before Jim Ryan. That's the proven formula. You had some that were deluded and blinded by loyalty accepting that multiplat was the future and that MS was merely getting ahead of where the industry was headed, but at least they can finally see the light and agree with what everyone has been saying for a decade+
Despite all of that, it's clear that Microsoft's Xbox division is broken beyond repair.
Excited times are coming!!
Hoping for:
1. New more powerful Xbox One, 1080p/60fps across the board with better gfx, make it just as powerful as PS4 NEO or even more powerful.
2. Show us more of Recore, Gears of War 4, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves and others.
3. Show us some new cross-features about XBOX and PC.
4. Bring some 3rd parties and make some exclusive deals with them like timed DLCs and stuff like that.
5. Announce some new IPs and announce Banjo 3 and some nostalgic games too.
6. And finally, make some changes to Xbox LIVE Gold Subscription model, make Online play for FREE while keeping the Gold subscription for 60$ for more FREE games and better BETA access of some games to make it tempting for some people to still subscribe to it, I know it may take a hit on your overall yearly revenue from Gold but that'll make your reputation much MUCH better in gamers' eyes.
With all these things that I've mentioned, ESPECIALLY the changes in Gold model, If happened as expected then this will make XBOX go to the top in sales with PlayStation, other than that...........E3 TIME!! ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN BABY CHOO CHOO!!
Show me Recore and Sea of Thieves
1. More Gears 4 gameplay (Horde and Campaign)
2. Recore
3. Sea of Thieves
4. Halo Wars 2 w/ beta
5. Alan Wake 2
6. Like DopeTech said with making online free and having Gold as a premium feature similar to how PS+ works on the PS3.
7. New IP
8. Return of older IP like MechAssault, Conker, Crimson Skies, Lost Odyssey, PGR, etc.
9. Announcement for future Halo 5 content (new waves of free content)
10. Possible Xbox and Steam partnership? Far fetched but would be really cool
Christmas for gamers is only a month away. Always an exciting time for Xbox and Playstation.
I love the portion in this article indicating new unnannounced games coming to Xbox One this year.
Microsoft will mostly talk about media and added sports packages then do a 5 minute cut to showcase a few games like Gears and Crackdown. They will then speak highly about the needed implication of, "The Cloud", and drone on about having the best line-up in Xbox history...did I pretty much cover it? If not please add what I might have missed!
