I actually thought the sprint button in Tomb Raider made it easier to get to sections faster because the maps were big. In the Last of us the sprint button didn't affect the multiplayer or campaign either. I guess it depends on the game. If gamer's really want a sprint button I'm sure ND can give a patch for that feature for the campaign. It never bothered me though.

A run button? Man this game must be sweet if a complaint is the lack of a run button. Good lord some people are impatient.

I like that the series has no run button. Nathan goes at Nathan pace. Always has.

I was second guessing myself for a minute I didn't think there ever was one. It didn't take away from the campaign in the first three at all so definitely won't be missed here.

Never needed it before, doesn't need it now. I love the intensity of the game. Drake really changes depending on the situation (runs, jogs, etc). If it's not broken, don't 'fix' it.

I didn't like Uncharted 3's sprinting as it ruined the flow, pacing for me. Uncharted 2 without it was perfect as it gave me room to look at all the details and kept me at a relaxed state of mind as I looked around for enemies. Even in multiplayer Uncharted 2 had a smooth flow and had players take more cover instead of mindlessly run into the open and quickly get killed.

Also, like others stated, you move a little faster in combat and move slower in exploration, stealth sections so things should be overall fine.

I'm sure some people love their sprint button, but trust me...Uncharted doesn't need it. Nathan Drake is a great jumper even without needing a headstart sprint.

What's next? Uncharted 4 needs a crawl button? let's turn it into Metal gear solid. I never needed a run button in Uncharted.

I don't see how it's needed. Nate is fast enough during combat, and the exploration segments hardly give you a break with its platforming sections.

While playing Uncharted 1-3, did anybody here actually think "woah, this needs a sprint button"?

Run button would make it easy to die over and over. It definitely does not need a run button.

The pacing and movement speed in the stress test MP beta was damn near perfect. I trust ND know what they're doing here.

It was a bit off putting when they integrated "sprint" in the UC3 multiplayer. I didn't enjoy the UC3 multiplayer really. Now the UC2 multiplayer/campaign was the best in my opinion without the sprint option.

The character models are not good. The movement physics looks like it was from 10 years ago. Not impressed. And not a good example of what can, or more importantly, should be done in 2024. However, this not targeted for that, but is a hobby project of a single developer, and in this respect, it is good.

As a hobby its a great job. In my opinion though the character models are odd. Nate seem a little..."happy"

As a one man showing, it's impressive. Interesting that a level designer could put this together alone, which raises one question for me:

Did they use AI to help with this?

This was really cool, really makes me miss the uncharted games

Fascinating concept. If anything, it made me appreciate just how skilled the Naughty Dog is with animations, etc.

If one person can make this why are game budgets so high!
