Ian Howarth: "From the developers that hid out in a University and brought us Forced now comes what has been accurately described as a mix between The Binding of Isaac and Hearthstone. Using what I assume to be the same engine and combat system as Forced, a new game arrises that is no longer focused on challenges and multiplayer as its predecessor was, but instead brings a single-player experience that aims for high levels of replay-ability and the ‘learn more with each death’ approach that is a benchmark of all roguelite games."

A slew of games have been packed into bundles for Steam users, all at incredibly discounted prices.

EB: Forced Showdown was just straight-up fun, I don’t know that it was absolutely the most innovative game I’ve ever played, but I thought that it spiced up a lot of ideas that have been used and I have to commend it for that. If you like fast-paced twin-stick shooters with deck-building and RPG elements, then i highly suggest checking this game out, because it is super cool and super fun.

During his coverage at PAX East 2016, Wes got some time with Forced Showdown. Wes liked the look of the game as well as the action and strategy and said there is a big fun factor to the game. Wes also mentioned that the game becomes repetitive quickly and may be a challenge to hold a players interest long term.
