The Division's Challenging Missions Have a Major Kicking Problem

Tom Clancy's The Division has a major issue when playing challenging missions with random players, leading to unwarranted kicking by group leaders.

Yep this happened to me the other day and we got all the way to the end of the mission which is what I found even more annoying. I bet he invited his friend just so they could got the reward for completing it. After that and I got paired up with some people who were just not good at the game. Now I only play with friends when they're online

Same happened to my friend. This is stupid. Like they didnt think people would ruin it

It's easy as hell to start your own match and be leader.

Step 1: Go to the mission.
Step 2: Set to challenging and step into the area.
Step 3: Turn your privacy settings to open group
Step 4: Watch your group fill.

The main reason people are doing the kicking off the bat is for the 8 to 24+ man lobbies for easy mode.

Yeah but why should everyone have to do that

DivoJones3720d ago

I can't speak to challenge mode specifically, but I found when doing missions and using matchmaking I could simply not accept the match it'd find me and would eventually make me a host.

Vegamyster3720d ago

I got glitched into a wall near the end of the power plant mission on challenging caused by another player interacting with something and the game reset me to the last safe house i was at, the host kicked me as i was fast traveling back to the mission, turned off the game after that lol.

rdgneoz33720d ago

If you don't use your mic (PS4 and xbone come with one) and tell the leader what happened, they might just think you left them.

Vegamyster3720d ago

I said i was stuck and it shows you on the map if a team mate is fast traveling.

So the game can be turned into a 24 player challange mode? That's insane and imagine if Ubisoft and massive actually took this info on board and allowed it to stay.

If it works as is why not actually make this happen, rework the hordes, make them tougher add better loot touched challange and extend the maps.

Basically make super hard 24 player raids like they have in pc mmorpg games, I honestly would be up for that..

Dark-soul3720d ago (Edited 3720d ago )

nah.. becouse even in 4 player mode havent you noticed on some missions where x4 people and many enemy npc spwn, small lags starts and fps drops a bit, imagine what would happen if there would be 10 people and even more npc? you want your ps4 or xbone to fry?
i dont even want to think about 24ppl, lol , it would be nightmare and unplayable, moer frustration from technical side , disconects, chaos and so on.
for me x4 people is more then enough and i hope they make raids with bosses and so on, designed for 4 people.

Played with five teams for hours the other day and it played butter smooth with no problems whatsoever.

the_mack_attack33720d ago

Agree with dabushwhaka, zero lag throughout.

Neonridr3720d ago

I think that's why as soon as a boss is taken down people run for the purple/yellow loot. At least they can reap some of their rewards before they are booted.

Hasn't happened to me personally, but that would be a major pain.

dkp233719d ago (Edited 3719d ago )

Same here hasn't happened to me at the end. Ive been boot d mid or right in the beginning before starting but never at the end. In any case once I see a purple I running there and getting my stuff.
