Matt from DSOGaming writes: "Forced: Showdown, while retaining the same name as its parent title, this iteration in the series is quite different from its predecessor. What sets Forced: Showdown apart from the original Forced is its new card system. In Forced: Showdown you battle your way through an arena filled with worthy (or not so worthy) adversaries all waiting for the opportunity to dispatch your gladiator, with the goal of fame and fortune!"

A slew of games have been packed into bundles for Steam users, all at incredibly discounted prices.

EB: Forced Showdown was just straight-up fun, I don’t know that it was absolutely the most innovative game I’ve ever played, but I thought that it spiced up a lot of ideas that have been used and I have to commend it for that. If you like fast-paced twin-stick shooters with deck-building and RPG elements, then i highly suggest checking this game out, because it is super cool and super fun.

During his coverage at PAX East 2016, Wes got some time with Forced Showdown. Wes liked the look of the game as well as the action and strategy and said there is a big fun factor to the game. Wes also mentioned that the game becomes repetitive quickly and may be a challenge to hold a players interest long term.
