Dennis Brännvall, the lead designer for Star Wars Battlefront, has recently ‘snapped’ at a troll on Twitter who called him and the team behind the game lazy. The tweet has since been taken down, although there a copy available, but this whole story raises a more interesting and fundamental question – what do game developers exactly do at work? What are their duties and responsibilities? Is making video games interesting and fun like playing them? Let’s have a look.

Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Lando Calrissian could all be coming to the next round of Battlefront DLC after EA's lead designer Dennis Brännvall left a big hint about their possible inclusion in the future.
And when you think about it and the upcoming levels coming to the game, it makes complete sense.

Star Wars Battlefront will get private matches in the next update, allowing you to have tournaments. Offline bots are still far away, though.
Cool, a shooter with matchmaking only makes zero sense to me. Maybe now I can convince my friends to create a SWBF clan
"Can you stop selling umbrella with holes?"
"The disadvantages of holes are under investigation...."- Love EA
i really enjoyed this game in the short time that i played BUT i have since then moved on...this may be too little too late

GW:
Personally I think it's quite fitting that the Hoth Walker Assault battle that was playable in the recent Star Wars: Battlefront Beta was fairly unbalanced in favour of the Imperials, considering what happened in the movie, but I do understand how getting blaster-cannoned to death every five seconds might get frustrating.
It's not hugely surprising to hear that EA DICE is rebalancing the map, then. Lead multiplayer designer Dennis Brännvall admitted the current state of the level was "too tough", and revealed that the team was working on balance changes for the final release.
Its kind of hard to fix spawn camping. Other than that it's not that hard to win with either side. Ive seen Rebels destroy AT-ATS right after the second section.
The problem is people are not playing the objectives as Rebels and not listening to audio clues on when to attack the walkers. Maybe they need to add flashing text at the bottom of the screen or something because people don't seem to get it.
And for godsakes stop letting the Imperials use turrets. They already have superior firepower and on top of that it makes no sense. Also if the Imperials have air support, the speeders are pretty much useless. Maybe offer an anti air option for the last section of the mission.
Besides, like what Maul_T_Pass said, not letting the Imperials use turrets (makes sense), DICE should NOT change anything. If you are the Rebels, you should feel the pressure of overwhelming odds. They did get their asses handed to them in the movie. I really hope DICE thinks twice about this nerf, as all it takes is a little coordination to bring those AT-ATs down... not a nerf.
I think some developers are like:
