Kinda makes me shameful to own a PS3. Give credit to Microsoft; they're doing a good job right now with the 360.

When it comes to American cattered AAAs there isn't much outside of Gears to boast about this fall for MS. PS3 has more going for it that way, but the recent Arcade price-cut rumors have me thinking that MS can still pull this off.

Either way, it'll be an interesting fall economically in the gaming market. I for one will just continue loving life playing all the AAA games I want on my PS360.

That lineup isn't much to brag about. This is where Sony has a huge advantage simply because they own so many development studios and MS doesn't. Sony will always have more exclusives due to sheer numbers. The only way MS can compete with exclusives is by buying them. I don't necessarily mean going to devlopers and paying money to keep it on one platform but MS will have to help pay for the game. Developers need to make back their money and going multiplatform is the only way to do it. Third-party exclusives are almost dead.

beyond GOW2..there is really no 360 buy games for me..
its all in cycles...360 got the most of our playtime, now its the PS3 for the rest of this gen and into the next gen of consoles

Microsoft didn't show or announce anything new at X08, but one website today was questioning what was the point of Sony even being at GC, but Sony made new announcements and showed new footage of Heavy Rain, but I don't hear anyone critizing Microsoft for not even being at GC with new announcements or updates on games like ALAN WAKE or Splinter Cell Conviction.

I guess Microsoft must be waiting until 2009 to talk about their 2009 lineup or something, but right now Sony's 2009 lineup is more rock solid.

as a 360 fan i am upset at this lineup. you can clearly see the tide turning sony's way and microsoft knows it. banjo, fable are only getting attention because there really is nothing else besides gears 2, which is going to be great but one great game isnt enough. sony accually has a lineup of exclusive blockbusters coming. im not going to name them, we all know them and sony has been talking about them for a while yes, so they need to get off there asses and release them already. 360 has had its day, but sadly that day is fading. its ok to accept it, just do what im doing and move on to ps3!

Fable2 and Gaers2 have two things in common, they are both the best the 360 will have to offer and THEY ARE BOTH PC BOUND not real exclusives. If LBP goes to the PC, then it too will not be a TRUE exclusive.

There really aren't any 360 exclusives that I'm looking forward to this fall. I'm sure some people are really looking forward to Gears 2, but I'm not really a shooter fan.

Also, why so many 360 haters in here? X08 is a Microsoft-sponsored event, so why come in here and bash the 360? That's pretty lame.

It's absolutely amazing to me how in just these few weeks I've started visiting this site how every article, no matter what it may be, turns into a damn fanboy argument. The guy didn't mention a damn thing about PS3 or 360 being better or which game to go and buy for which system, he simply said he had an opportunity to play a few games before they are released. I visit this site to get News for gamers (N4G) not to read all of these childish arguments over which system is best. The system YOU own is best, if you don/t own that particular console you don't know jack about it. I personally have all 3 systems and I think all of them are wonderful yet they all have their weaknesses. Be a gamer not a hater and if any of you guys are getting paid to endorse your respective console let me know how to get in on the action, otherwise, shut the HELL up!!

MS might be flaunting their fall lineup, but what do they have after that??? At this point a year ago, we knew about Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden, Lost Odyssey, Gears2, etc. The only games I can think of for '09 are APB, Halo Wars, Alan Wake, the inevitable Halo installment, maybe another DOA or a Forza, Killer Instinct.

Elveon is going MP, Mass Effect 2 will most likely do the same. Bioshock already has.

MS have a rough road ahead of them if they expect to compete w/ PS3 exclusives like Infamous, Free Realms, KZ2, White Knight Story, The Agency, Ghostbusters, FF Versus, FF13(coming out a roughly a yr. first on PS3), God Of War 3, Gran Turismo, and Heavy Rain.

A few games we might also see for PS3 are another Uncharted, Twisted Metal, Hardware 2, another Ratchet and Clank, the Team Ico Project, R* Exclusive or MAG. Seriously, this might be one of the best lineups in videogame history.

You can call it fanboyism all you want, but its true, MS has a serious void in their lineup. It kinda makes you wonder if they are now focusing their attention on the next XBOX, and if so will they keep the 360 alive while they release it?
