WCCFt: Ever since the game’s reveal, we have known that The Division, the soon to be released third person shooter developed by Ubisoft, is going to be set in New York during a terrible crisis instigated by a smallpox pandemic, and players will be able to explore some of the more important parts of the city such as Manhattan. It’s previously been confirmed that a few areas such as Brooklyn, Long Island and State Island won’t be included in the game at launch, but it seems like one of them might still be featured in the final version of the game.

It has been ten years of the franchise and a celebration is planned.

It's been almost 10 years since we first stepped foot in Ubisoft's extraction shooter, The Division and it looks like the developer will celebrate by giving fans a chance to replay the experience in "definitive edition" form.

from paulsemel.com: In this exclusive Q&A, the author of the new technothriller based on "Tom Clancy's: The Division" discusses how it ties to the games while also bringing its own story to a close.
So the developers said in an interview that Brooklyn wont be DLC and they said in another interview it wont be in the game then what the hell?
Its either in the game or its coming as dlc.
If it was the starting area I think Ubisoft would have said...I mean not saying anything is just making them look bad to be honest.
I'm sure they just aren't committing to anything yet until they are 100 percent on what is being offered and they have it to a certain quality level even with consumer expectations.
It could already be on disc and unlocked later via dlc.
Data mining doesn't mean it's definitely apart of the game, the content has been cut... but folder files and codes associated with it may still be there
