The Division BETA has been officially released and thanks to that we can finally see how the game looks on both consoles.
It's not hard to see that both versions of the game does not specifically differ from each other, and the only difference seems to be subtle color intensity. Could it be an argument in the war about less powerful Xbox?

It has been ten years of the franchise and a celebration is planned.

It's been almost 10 years since we first stepped foot in Ubisoft's extraction shooter, The Division and it looks like the developer will celebrate by giving fans a chance to replay the experience in "definitive edition" form.

from paulsemel.com: In this exclusive Q&A, the author of the new technothriller based on "Tom Clancy's: The Division" discusses how it ties to the games while also bringing its own story to a close.
This is one of the biggest differences I've seen in a miltplat game. Damn.
The Xbox One is truly a powerhouse. The Division looks just as good on Xbox One as it does on PS4 IMO. March can't come any sooner.
@magiciandude (yeah im going to be that guy)
Why did you put "imo"? It is a fact they both look and play alike.
Powerhouse? Lol now thats a joke, neither are powerhouses but the fact still remains PS4 is more powerful in a few respects and in no circumstances should the PS4 version look and play exactly the same and not be better, unless of course forced parity. With all that said PS4 still performs better although very miniscule difference and not worth pointing out.
This isnt the first game to be created equally on both platforms (although very few) and this isnt the first time fans use an example like this to say "oh u see Xbox is just as powerful" lol to then get a slew of other multiplats after that didnt perform up to par. Depends on the devs and some or a few for the sake of parity or whatever reason wont use PS4 to its full potential and will develop the game equally to a lower denominator, these are things that happen all the time. Of course youll get fans that come later on with the mister media bologny and blindness and say " you see xbox is catching up, you see the cloud, you see dx12 lol but its none of that. They did that couple of other games that were greated equally a year ago (Destiny was another that was equal).
Either way it looks good and hope everyone enjoys. I will be trying the beta in a few minutes.
@WallStreet
The magician may have exaggerated a bit but he is not off in stating "The Division looks just as good on Xbox One as it does on PS4 IMO"

Your hypocrisy is apparent and the sheer ignorance of your statement shows it.

Why do you feel the need to having a pissing contest. You should be praising the good work that Ubisoft has done with the parity and instead your knocking the magicians statement and continue to push your own bias agenda.
Bottom line the game looks fantastic on both and any system you purchase the Division on will be a great play through. I am tired of seeing ignorant comments from guys like you as if you speak for the companies or are getting a paycheck. Enjoy the system on the platform you play with your friends.
