Vector 36 Impressions | NextPowerUp

Vector 36 is a physics based racer by Red River Studio LLC, sporting VR support along with a release date that should hopefully coincide with the Oculus Rift CV1's release. The title has often been compared with Episode I: Racer, but is much more complex and physics orientated. For starters it has pitch controls and a near newton-physics simulation of general movement. The placement systems for the parts supports all manner of configuration for weight distribution as well as lift distribution, and features a number of prebuilt skimmers for those looking to dive into the race. The game takes place on Mars, and pits you against a range of opponents on multiple tracks to test your skills. There's also a neat little part destruction system to keep you from going full cowboy on the way around the track.

Vector 36 Confirmed for PlayStation VR

VRFocus - Back in October, VRFocus reported on the news that indie developer Red River Studio had launched the pre-release version of its sci-fi racing title, Vector 36, over on Steam’s Early Access system. The videogame, which is set to support PC-based virtual reality (VR) head-mounted displays (HMDs) in the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, still remains in this state, with support for the former’s second development kit (DK2) now available. That said, it’s today been confirmed that Vector 36 will also be coming to PlayStation 4 next year, and will be supporting the console’s PlayStation VR HMD.

I can't wait for VR. I held out on buying a dev kit, but it's taking so long now I really should have just gotten one. I could have been playing around with VR for like 2 or 3 years now.
