Fallout 4′s Five Biggest Flaws

PixelGate.co.uk writes:

''For everything Fallout 4 does well, there’s numerous elements that fall flat. It’s not that Fallout 4 is a bad game, far from it, but it’s certainly not a perfect game. Numerous sites and critics have seemingly overlooked some of Fallout 4′s biggest flaws. After over 100 hours put into the game, these are the five biggest faults of Fallout 4.''

I just miss the weapon requirements, and skills having more affect on the world and dialogue.
I loathe how basic they made the conversation system. It's just lazy, and limits players who are actually trying to roleplay.

PixelGateUk3827d ago

The whole dialogue is a issue. i think they were fully aware of the impact of adding a more direct story telling method...kinda wish they didn't mind

wadprime3827d ago

Agreed, though as long as it doesn't become a permanent part of the fallout games, I'm willing to pass this off as a Fallout 4 quirk. It's a fine exception, I actually find playing a character that isn't a complete blank slate a little refreshing, but I wouldn't want this to be the norm.

Ocsta3827d ago

The mod that fixes the dialogue system is literally a must. I can't imagine playing without it.

Halo2ODST23827d ago

It doesn't fix the lack of dialog options though.

MadLad3827d ago

It's as Halo said. The system is fixed, but not Beth's lazy writing.

N0TaB0T3827d ago

Can they fix the mess that is "The Molecular Level", please?

ChrisW3827d ago

My biggest qualm with the game is that roaming and randomly doing things is more engaging and fun than plodding through the main quest.

PixelGateUk3827d ago

Funny you should say that ,there's a post going up this week about that exact thing. I was 100 hours in before i started the bulk of the missions. Needless to say i had FAR more enjoyment just exploring than i did with the missions...bar Nick Valentine's mission

TheMadDutchman3827d ago (Edited 3827d ago )

fix the railroad quest line , i somehow got glory a live again{console code worked after 5 tries , i think you have to be marker her body to recycle} but come on this should have been patched already

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot210d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder209d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain209d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
