The option to use a custom image for your Xbox One background has been available for quite some time, but now that the New Xbox One Experience is out, you might find its time to update your existing background. I asked the Xbox design team to create a Photoshop .psd template so you can easily create your own great looking custom made backgrounds for your Xbox One.

Great video.I think a new Xbox coming so soon is a pretty hard on the kids, but can see why they are doing it. The Xbox one is getting owned by the PS4.
Thanks to everyone for watching and commenting. Means it was worth the time each week to put this together. JASON
It's called choice. That's been Phil's MO since he's taken over. I'll take choice any day. If X1 is not powerful enough then there's the PS4 & Neo, If those don't float your boat then there will be The X1 Scorpio, and if that's not enough then there's PC. Seems to me all basses covered. Everyone gets a piece of the pie. I'm ready to upgrade, what about you?

Gadgets 360 says: "Nonetheless, it's not perfect. Sharing content isn't as easy as it should be and ads on your home screen are still a questionable inclusion. However, much like a steady supply of exclusive games are important to keep existing console owners piqued, the update cycle and turnaround time in transforming the Xbox One's dashboard with new features and additions is slowly becoming as important. The level of support is heartening.
With that in mind, the New Xbox One Experience is a step in the right direction simply because it has succeeded where it matters most, keeping us optimistic about the console's prospects in the months to come."
the OS is less stable, some apps crash more. Movies & TV app full of frame rate issues on every video. No more monthly leaderboards among friends.
Only issue I have is it takes too many steps to share game clips. Other than that I like it.
I love the new UI all the things I use are one button away. My only problem is achievements always opens in snap and I can't remove games from the ready to install list

Microsoft has released a complete list of issues some Xbox One players may experience after downloading and installing today's New Xbox One Experience update, including problems associated with signing in to your Xbox Live profile and tiles appearing blank in My Games & Apps.
While the issues may not affect everybody, Microsoft admits that it was unable to "fully polish" the NXOE update in time for today's launch, which could lead to problems for some users.
Each known issue can be resolved, however, so there's no need to panic about the update bricking your console. At least not yet, anyway - we haven't yet seen any reports of the console causing any major issues for players.
Whats the point of we preview members pointing out these bugs and glitches if they never even bothered fixing it. I must've reported blanked tiles about 7 times int he program!
It's to be expected with how Microsoft launches everything. Look at the xbox one now compared to day one. They tossed it out the door and started raking in money while they continued to build it. Day one had terrible party functionality, no controller battery meter and tons of other things they added later as "exciting updates"
Anyone graphically inclined that can make me a custom background?
Ooh need to remember this for later.
