Master Chief is still revelant because he is MS mascot. Seriously, is that obvious ?

Like Kratos, this green dude needs a couple of years off the scene.

I keep hearing people saying the story is bad, yet can't give me any specific reasons why. It's either:

1:They know nothing about Halo's lore
2:Already had set in their mind what they wanted it to be
3:Don't like Halo
4:Act like they've played Halo when the last time they owned an Xbox was the original

The story failed like a condom being shared by three girls on prom night.

Contrary to what people may think, Halo is still the biggest science fiction video game series. Master Chief is the most popular non Nintendo character in the world and will remain so even if 343 continues to run Halo into the ground.

The story had istsproblems but Halo 5's mission and level design in the campaign were top notch for the series.

People are saying playing as Locke is rather unnecessary. Well duh the whole game was misleading considering the advertising was BS. According the Angry Joe 9 missions you play as Locke, 3 you talk and do non mission stuff, and the last 3 stages you play as Chief. WTF.

At Least in Kingdom Hearts II you only had to play as Roxas for very little of the game to begin with. Honestly I wanted to play as Sora more than anything and thankfully KH2 wasn't littered with Roxas taking up 2/3 of the game but rather 1/20th(5% of the game. The rest you get to play as Sora.

You're probably thinking why am i mentioning this. well that's simple it's because fans want to play as a character that has already been established and well known not some new character that most fans don't know who he is.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
