BR has longer loading time, just compare the loading from FN3 on 360 vs PS3. And I don't think the extra storage capacity is put to good use right now, COD3 on my PS3 is bigger than the xbox DVD version but its the same game, no extra content, they just put garbage on the disk to use (I mean waste) more space. I'm still kind of mad that I had to pay more, wait longer to get a PS3, just so I could have a BR player which isn't worth it.

If they put the imagination and fun level of Bully into GTA4 it'll be better than all the grand theft auto games.

GTA is one of my favorites series, but San Andreas was a serious step backwards from Vice City. Many improvements, but at the expense of all the things in GTA3 and Vice City that were good.

At least I have PSP, to play new missions in old gameplay style.

...that they are building the game from the ground up for both the X360 and the PS3 - I know, very doubtful. But I for one have already had enough of cross platform games that fail to inspire on either platform, e.g. COD3, Ridge Racer, all of the EA games!

Lets face it, both the PS3 and X360 have their strengths and weaknesses, but a game like GTA should be fantastic on either if they are written to exploit what each console has to offer.

Maybe GTA will be the first game where we can actually compare the actual (and not manufacturer published) capabilities of the PS3 and X360.

There is a big difference in data transfer speeds. I have both systems. And the ps3 load times for the same games that are on the 360 are way way way longer. And the 360 versions look much better and play much better. But all you have to do is go to wikipedia.com and compare the 360's drive against the ps3's drive. Why does DJ lie so much in regards to the ps3 vs 360? Does he think that people who view this site are dumb? We are all on the internet. The xbox 360 folks. Right now, how would have thought that for Christmas the hottest selling Item on the planet is an xbox 360. You have ipods, digital cams, 2 other "new" next gen consoles, toys, gadgets....but the year old xbox 360 is outselling everything week by week approaching christmas. I have to agree with MS when they updated their numbers and said they will easily surpass 10 million. Who doubted that the 360 would fade after the ps3 launch? ha ha ha ha ha ha ..... The funny part is....the more 360's sold and on the market...the more word of mouth spreads. GTA 4 coming with exclusive episodic content for the 360 will boost sales even further. The GTA series sold 40 million copies on the ps2. No series of games even comes close. Half of the ps2's install base was due to the timed exclusiveness of the ps2 versions. Not this time. WOW. I could care less what the graphics look like, but GTA games have always been about fun and GTA:III/Vice City/San Andreas cannot be topped in the fun category but can be equaled.
I would like to see what it looks like as far as visuals on 360, but it wont make any difference of the fun already on the current-gen. The new features and story-lines will be the difference on the GTA series.

GTA has been a huge seller for PS2. I've heard tons of people say it's their favorite. I hate to sound like this, but a lot of "urban" people love the series, and they bought PS2 to play it. When lower-income people see that it's on 360 also, they might just want to save $200 on the PS3 and get the 360 instead. Time will tell, i guess, but that's just my thought.

I remember the first time i played GTA 3. I didnt even have to do the missions. You can just run around and be a Sh*t to people. complete pick up and play but also has a point.

I think sony and their beta ray drive are finished,i just bought a xbox 360 HD DVD drive and its fantastic but dvd stills holds its own and i think sony made a huge mistake adding blue ray to the PS3,SONYS BANKING ON A QUICK uptake of blue ray and its just not gonna happen folks period.Ill continue to buy HD DVD movies but ill also buy DVD movies as well, i feel theres no rush in updating my already massive dvd collection which still serves me well withs it great picture quality and sound,ill buy some of my faverite movies on HD DVD cause i think its the winning format its just a matter of time GUYS
