Is the Neverwinter VIP Program Worthwhile?

Subscriptions were once the lifeblood of mmorpg games as those games lived and died by the number of subscribers that they had. The online gaming market has shifted considerably to the now standard free-to-play model, but you can bet that developers dream of having every single player forking over a few dollars every month in some form of subscription. The latest mmo to trot out some form of subscription program is the Dungeons and Dragons-based Neverwinter with their VIP program. As the game is f2p, is the Neverwinter VIP program worthwhile?

Interesting, I have promised myself I will never go back to Neverwinter but that's an interesting program. A free key seems like a good deal on face value except that the odds of getting anything valuable are so small. Statistically you'll open lockboxes every day for over a year before you get a mount. Of course it could be your first key or you could go for years and not get one. That gamble box magic.

I don't know how much AD you can earn in the game anymore per day I hear it's difficult to even salvage your 24k on one character anymore, but back when I was making like 250k per day I might have gone for this since they sell it for Zen.

I would like to be able to dive in and play the 5E-related story content without grinding levels to get to it.

It's for that online game, correct? I always wanted to see the drows home from Drizzt's books, I've read those years ago, but I never could fully imagine it from text alone. Looks a bit bright compared to what I remember how it was described, but I'm guessing that's for gameplay reasons.
