In a way they always win by being the only one working folks can watch live.

They may have COD and Battlefront in their pocket but they still need to drop a bomb like TLG and some big surprises to "win" e3.

They are doing great but risk being the boring standard at some point. People love the winning team but they also love the underdog.

just show the games. But I would like an emphasis on JRPGS because that is what made me love playstation. It feels like as of late they haven't been doing a whole lot of that. Especially during the ps1/ps2 days where you had the xenogears and xenosaga games, wild arms, suikoden, vagrant story, legend of dragoon, odin sphere, dragon quest 8, rogue galaxy etc...

Do not do it like last time where half of it was indie games and then have some asshole talk about his stupid powers comic book for 15 minutes.

I'm looking forward to Horizon, Hearing more about what Sucker Punch is working on, and I'd play Last Guardian, but honestly I don't think Sony can "win" this year unless they have something EXTREMELY major up their sleeve. So far this just doesn't appear to be their year...maybe next year.

All they gotta do is show gameplay trailers like they always do with a few teasers. Not over saturate their conference with CGI trailers that they don't show gameplay for till a year and a half later.

I'm not a PS owner and would really like to know what The Last Guardian is. People keep saying it's sony's silver bullet but I don't actually know what it is and found very little, what actually is it and why is it so major for ps, can someone explain please?

I just hope that Sony hasn't delaying its first party games because they want they them to be compatible with Project Morpheus. Project Morpheus can't succeed unless it appeals to casual and hardcore gamers alike. So it has to be a good piece of tech and affordable. If the buy in price for Project Morpheus (and that includes the headset, camera and controller) exceeds, imo, $250, it will be a niche product for the hardcore only.

Some of things people are listing. People must have low expectations for Sony. Announc tlg and they win? Just confirming things that people know is going to happen like uncharted no man sky, remasters?

Sounds boring.

Level 5 JRPG, Horizon gameplay/release date, new inFamous, Ratchet and Clank Future PS4 Collection, also if they reveal a new DQ (like they did for FFXV/KH3) that would be just lovely.

1. show us TLG
2. announce 2 big games like GOW4 and project horizon
3.show us gameplay from uncharted 4, no mans sky, wild.
4. demonstrate virtual reality
5.drop a bomb like we are funding silent hills, another third party exclusive or something else that will wow us.
I think we will se COD dlc being timed exclusive this time.

what i think will happen is:

more uncharted 4 gameplay, gow4,project horizon, the last guardian, david cage ( might be there), until dawn ( not far off), star wars, more indies, virtual reality and one major exclusive getting announced. i still think that activision has partnered up with sony on cod too, like destiny.

From what I've heard so far they have a very good shot.

Tomorrow EA is announcing the Star Wars Battlefront Beta on PS4 so Sony is having some awesome goodies for fans this year. Tomorrow current gen consoles are getting more announcements then have happened in the past couple of years. A lot of multiplatforms announced and shown.

By releasing The Last Guardian as the best game Team ICO's ever made, releasing an awesome Jak 4, and showing us a new God of War to beat all God of Wars.

What they need to do ?

Announce Genji 3, with next gen Giant Enemy Crab models.
