Yeah, i loved NV more than Fallout 3

but out of Skyrim and Fallout3
Fallout 3 is in another level for me

Highlife4013d ago

They both suck I hate video games sarcasm :-\

Brotard4013d ago

Well in my personal preference fallout due to art direction and story telling. Plus portable nukes...

I was just thinking about this last night as I played Fallout 3. No question, hands down my opinion is Fallout 3. It's so amazing despite the technical issues. The sense of wonder from the exploration is undeniable and the depth of the game's universe/lore is just astounding. I also just love walking across the Wasteland to witness a gang of slavers chasing down their terrified prey(slaves) and gunning them down right in front of me. It's so dark, funny and violent. Just a great game. Skyrim is good too, but I definitely prefer the Fallout franchise.

Skyrim is a better overall game technically. As far as immersion, environment and setting, there's nothing like Fallout.

Skyrim has standard setting atmosphere effects and character models were nice but it's boring as funk past exploring the vast world. Fallout 3 drew you in and made you want to explore, but man what shitty lookin' brick NPC's they had walking around those towns.

ninjahunter4014d ago

I liked them both for different reasons.
Fallout 3 was very good at delivering its setting, and really peaks my naustalgia.
Where as Skyrim felt to have better character interactions and gameplay.

Would be nice if they had New Vegas ready as well, especially because of the show.

Hopefully this doesn't have the same performance issues as Oblivion Remastered.

cloganart141d ago

I haven't seen anything on these performance issues? What's been going on?

walken7141d ago

Probably the Unreal Engine issues, I skipped it for that reason.

Throw in all the DLC as well, like Oblivion and I'll definitely bite. I recall having one trophy left to unlock on the PS3 version with 100+ hours in my save. When my save file got corrupted, lol. Very sad day.

To be fair though, Bethesda was trash at Playstation ports anyway.

Michiel1989141d ago

all devs sucked at porting to ps3 for the first like 3 years because no one had experience with the cell architecture. Even 1st party took a long while to get proficient with it, the difference between uncharted 1 and 3 is massive for example.

Extermin8or3_141d ago

Oh oh oh I can do this too. GTA 7 will be made at some point in the future. Fallout 5 will enter development in the future too

jznrpg141d ago

Everyone there should know most gamers want New Vegas and Morrowind more than anything.

Christopher141d ago

Which is why we won't get them. Gotta keep floating "support this one and it might happen".

BlaqMagiq1141d ago

Can't wait. Won't have to go back to my PS3 to play this when it comes out.

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981170d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
