my motion control method is better-

1- pick up motion controller

2- walk to nearest bin

3- throw controller in bin.

Concertoine4007d ago (Edited 4007d ago )

I dont usually like gyro controls but they work well in this game

In fact the reason they did this was because anyone using motion controls has an inherent advantage in terms of twitch aiming.

I legitimately by the thumbnail thought this was a satire. I can't believe this actually works XD. This is probably the most unprofessional, best way Nintendo has solved a control problem.

Summons754008d ago

Interesting, but the motion controls on this game are awful.

R00bot4008d ago

They take some getting used to, but I think it's more accurate this way. You use the stick for large camera movement and the motion for fine movement.
Admittedly at level 10 I still sometimes forget that I have to use motion control to look up and down though...

Summons754008d ago

Horrid, have to spam the reset to see in a straight line.

wonderfulmonkeyman4008d ago (Edited 4008d ago )

Not at all.
I've never had to spam reset to see straight, and my accuracy is above and beyond what I could accomplish with just sticks.

I got used to the motion controls instantly during the Testfire demo. It's seriously not that hard

AJBACK2FRAG4008d ago

I'm not interested in buying this game but I did participate in the last testfire and was surprised to find myself really enjoying the play mechanic but I kept thinking the Wii remote and nunchuk set up would make this game much easier and more natural to control.

what bullshit is this? nintendo is too mutch

RSKnight4007d ago

Agree. At fist I thought this was a joke video. This is one of so many reasons I stopped buying Nintendo crap. This is so ridiculous it's redonkulous.

Why Is Splatoon So Popular In Japan?

How, exactly, did Splatoon reach heights rivalled only by Pokémon in Japan? New IPs from the House of Mario appear as often as shiny Pocket Monsters, yet typically move comparatively mediocre numbers or fall into relative obscurity behind the premium marques of Mario, Animal Crossing, Zelda, and Pokémon. Take Pikmin and ARMS, for example, which we adore but struggle to compete with the tentpole franchises when it comes to sales numbers or mainstream mindshare.

So, again, how has Splatoon risen to become one of Nintendo's most important series in Japan?
