Omg, TN what are you doing. Not after the horrible Xbox1 release of Last Round can you do this. You are killing the brand :/

bunt-custardly4081d ago

I think they will patch in the omitted features further down the line and if not the modders will.

I was actually going to buy this to support more fighters coming to PC but I will definitely not be picking this up after reading this. And "online mode will be coming via a patch after 3 months of the game’s PC release." Seriously, wtf. I'm not supporting this shit.

camel_toad4082d ago

I know it wont happen but Id love it if they didnt sell a single copy. These kinds of practices are a complete joke.

Volkama4082d ago

Sadly i already picked up a pre-order a couple of months ago when G2A had them going for £10.50. That's £10.50 more than I'd usually be willing to pay to get shafted.

Gran Touring4082d ago

So they're essentially porting the game using assets from the last gen version made in 2012, despite just releasing current-gen versions with improved effects. WHY?

Yi-Long4082d ago

Because they're lazy greedy developers with a complete disregard to their customers.

It's like being competent is a sin or something.

Tecmo Guy 1: Well we're gonna bring this newest iteration of DoA to PC. To save time and money, let's port it from the console.
Tecmo Guy 2: Okay, we're gonna port the current-gen console build right? I mean it's already natively coded in x86 just like modern PC games, and uses the same type of GPU tech found in modern PC's as well. Should be a snap right?
Tecmo Guy 1: What?! Are you crazy or something? No! Let's port the old outdated Cell-based code from 2012 instead, ensuring that the game looks worse than the current-gen console versions.
Tecmo Guy 3: Also, no one on PC cares about online play -- we'll save even more time by just adding it in a patch 3 months after release.
Tecmo Guy 1: Ha! That's what I'm talkin' about! You're promoted!
Tecmo Guy 2: brb, rope

What has been been going on in the house of Team Ninja?! This is just absurd and disrespectful of the fans. Its like they are trying to off themselves or something by doing something so blatant.

Damn, Train Simulator is costing the big bucks. That game is kinda fun but not if you purchase all the DLC.

Relientk771877d ago

I will never understand why people pay for this crap.

"All the DLC - Train Simulator 2020, $10,145"

No wonder we're witnessing an increasing number of ports from PC to consoles, you can't nickel and dime PC owners with all their mods over there, lol

"Legatus Pack - Star Citizen $27,000"

Ouch!

Planet Calypso - Entropia Universe, $6,000,000

WTF...?!

Marie Rose: The making of Dead or Alive's doll-faced superstar

An in-depth interview feature with the developers at Koei Tecmo on the making of, and superstar rise of Marie Rose. From the feature: "For a series infamous for its big-breasted women and pin-up tone to then provide players with an option that so completely embraced cuteness was surely a creative risk. This is particularly true of markets outside of Japan, where people are as a rule far less comfortable with “cute” and “sexy” being in the same proverbial ballpark."
