In video games there are two logos that appear before the title screen. One is the publisher and one is the developer.

In your question, Monolith is the developer so the logo they are speaking about is the one for Sierra, the publisher.

Sierra On-Line's "Chainsaw Monday" - 20 Years On

Today marks 20 years since "Chainsaw Monday" where Major Layoffs occurred on February 22nd, 1999 at Yosemite Entertainment, the former Headquarters of Sierra On-Line in Oakhurst, CA and two thirds of Sierra's employees lost their jobs!
